I’ve been coming here for routine dental cleanings and have mostly worked with Lisa and Thao—I have nothing but great things to say about them! The entire staff is professional and welcoming. I highly recommend this office.

I have two very bad cavities in my canines, to the point that they will require extraction. Dr. Teahen took my x-rays and did an exam, which went fine. When it came to talking about extractions and what needed to happen, she was not upfront with why she refuses to do it. Instead, she referred me to the University of Iowa Dental College, which I specifically told her I cannot go to due to an outstanding balance that I have no way to pay for. Despite me being very clear about how they will NOT accept me as a patient, she did so anyway and did not attempt in any way to refer me to an oral surgeon that I could actually see to get this taken care of. I feel very much like she just wanted to wash her hands of me because my situation is more complicated than she is equipped for. I am incredibly let down by my experience at Midwest Dental. At this point, I can't recommend this clinic to anyone, especially if they have something more serious than a tiny cavity or the need for a cleaning.

I’ve been going here for dental care for a few years now. I feel really lucky to have Thao as my hygienist. She is kind and gentle (seriously, the most gentle hygienist I’ve ever had) and also very thorough. Thao and I always end up laughing about something while she cleans my teeth. Thanks to her careful observation and advice, my teeth are as healthy as ever. Dr. McBride is equally kind and professional. He is inquisitive and open to hearing about my experience. I always feel well cared for at Midwest Dental!

The staff are awesome. Each session doesn’t feel like a clinic visit; it feels like a coffee chat. The environment is pleasant and well kept. The staff are professional, and they are eager to help resolve any issues that may arise with your billing or insurance. In case you are wondering, the dental staff know their job well. You should totally visit Midwest Dental! Don’t go alone. Invite a friend too.
