My experience with Dr. Crosby was very disappointing. She came highly recommended by my dentist but I will be going elsewhere to finish my treatment. Day of surgery she was kind and thorough. After surgery care was terrible - once procedure is over she and staff do not care and it shows. Extreme pain night of surgery and had to call her for stronger pain meds. Took me 2 hours to get her to call back and once she finall my did, very unfriendly and bothered. No follow up, check in, nothing. Staff is OK- some friendly, some not. Would not go back. Experience elsewhere with previous dental surgery much better.

My experience here has been absolutely wonderful. Dr. Akhras is a complete professional and very highly skilled. He makes everything about the patient experience his highest priority. Also Jen the surgical assistant was terrific, chair side throughout the procedure making sure that I was okay. I can’t say enough good things about this practice and their emphasis on the entire patient experience.

BEST IN CLASS PATIENT CARE Gum graft surgery can be scary, but not with Dr. Crosby and her team. From the moment you are greeted at reception, to the completion of your procedure, you get a sense of professionalism and genuine personal care you won't get anywhere else. The receptionists are friendly and welcoming, the surgical assistants put you at ease, Dr. Crosby's skillful hands work confidently and efficiently, and her insurance coordinator masterfully processes the claims to expedite patient reimbursement. One of my favorite things about my experience under Dr. Crosby's care is the fact that she PERSONALLY calls each patient post-surgery. How many surgeons do you know that take patient care to this level? Truly appreciated and unprecedented! Dr. Crosby is best in class in my book and I highly recommend her as THE BEST in the business.

My experience with Dr Kolinski was a nightmare. I do not think it could have gone any worse. There is a long explanation here but the short summary is that I endured a lot of extra cost, pain and suffering only to have a failed implant. Please find an oral surgeon with good reviews if you plan to get an implant. I was referred to this office by my dentist (whose failed root canal procedure contributed to or caused the need for an extraction/implant, and who was retiring at the time) and every step of the process with Dr Kolinski was just wrong. Was told I needed an extraction immediately on my consultation with no pricing discussed in advance (this is on me as well since should have stopped them and asked) with bone graft, but it was infected (which is why I went there in the first place) and he refused to give me any antibiotic. No oral antibiotic, no antibiotic rinse, and they did not even put gauze in my mouth so I was bleeding into my mouth while learning about the cost at the end of the appointment. Ended up coming back multiple times over the next few weeks to let them know I had a horrible taste in my mouth that seemed like infection (tasted like a dead animal in my mouth) but they dismissed it and actually got annoyed with me for showing up. Once the gum closed up one day my cheek filled up with the infection quickly and so I had to go in and have them scrape out all of the bone graft, squeeze infection out of my cheek, etc and finally give me antibiotics. Because of the infection and bone loss related to this , I had to wait longer to get the implant and for some reason I let Dr Kolinski put in the implant, which ultimately failed. I finally went to an actual oral surgeon for the failed implant and I was so impressed with how meticulously they work to prevent infection, ensure proper healing and ensure the bone is ready for the implant and tooth. There is no comparison between a good oral surgeon and Dr Kolinski.

I was referred to Dr Crosby by my dentist for an extraction of a broken tooth and subsequent implant. I was very nervous about going as I've had poor experiences in the past with an extraction. Dr Crosbys office was quick to get me in, very thorough with their plan of care, and amazing with a personal call follow up from Dr Crosby herself. The procedure was easier then anticipated and the staff was kind to continually check in while work was being done to make sure I was doing OK. I would definitely recommend her to others!
