Mill Creek Oral Surgery (Boardman) is amazing! I was very nervous about having my tooth pulled but doctor's assistant Tana explained the procedure and stayed with me the entire time helping me to keep calm and be prepared. She was super-duper! Dr. Neilson Wagley was so great! His kindness, compassion and great bedside manner were very much appreciated. All of the office staff were friendly, professional, polite, kind and caring. I would give them 10 stars if I could! Highly recommend this practice!

Dr. Neilson Wagley and his staff specifically Emily and Kelly are phenomenal!!! My daughter had her four wisdom teeth recently removed. From her initial appointment which was very easy to schedule to having her wisdom teeth removed one week later, my husband and I were very pleased!
Dr. Wagley’s kindness and professionalism were great. He put my daughter completely at ease by answering all of her questions during the initial appointment. Their aftercare information is very detailed and answers any question you might have about how to take care of the patient afterwards. This was invaluable.
The staff Were great in every aspect. Particularly Emily and Kelly who were my daughter’s nurses on the day of the procedure. Both women were calming and very good at their jobs. They were able to help come my daughter’s anxiety about the IV and the procedure itself. Both women really extended motherly care to my daughter during the procedure by holding her hand and even singing to her.
If you are in need of any type of oral surgery, this practice is the practice to go to. The kindness, expediency, professionalism, and caring are unmatched in the area. I would recommend them to anyone who needs five stars for sure.!

My regular dentist recommended that I see Dr Mark Billy for a possible tooth extraction. Dr Billy was honest & reassuring that removing the tooth was the right thing to do. Happy to say the extraction went quickly & after following the instructions given to me by his kind & very knowledgeable assistant everything went very well for me. I’m not quit a week into healing & I’m happy to say I have no pain & healing nicely.
Also, I was very impressed with how nice the entire staff was to deal with.
If I ever need an oral surgeon again I wouldn’t hesitate returning to Mill Creek Oral Surgery. There expertise & professionalism was second to none.

I was extremely pleased with the service and the professionalism of the staff. Dr. Billy was amazing. My tooth was out in less than 5 minutes. No issues. I waited there for 5 minutes after the tooth was pulled with cotton in my mouth to ensure no excessive bleeding. There wasn’t and I was on my way. Thank you very much for making my situation as painless as possible. I had no issues after I got home either.

My experience was top notch from start to finish with Dr Wagley. When I called in the receptionist was polite, found a spot for me the same day (thank you Kaylee). Upon arriving, I filled necessary paperwork, was taken back by Dr's nurse Ms Tana who stayed with me the entire time she was fabulous! She helped to keep a nervous patient calm and prepared (thank you). Dr. Wagley, what can I say...he was gentle and easily removed the tooth without any issues (special thank you Dr Wagley). I would recommend this practice any day, they are professional, thoughtful and kind.

Mill Creek Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Associates is an oral and maxillofacial surgery practice with two offices in the Youngstown area, one in Austintown and one at 7641 Market Street, Suite 1 in Boardman, Ohio. The practice traces its roots to 1957, when Paul J. Murphy, DDS opened an oral surgery practice in Youngstown; that office moved to Boardman in 1986, and the group took the Mill Creek name in the late 1990s. The surgeons perform a full range of dental implant and bone grafting procedures, including All-on-4 implant-supported dentures, ridge augmentation, sinus lifts, and socket preservation, and the office uses a cone beam scanner that produces three-dimensional images for treatment planning. The practice states that its mission is helping people, with a focus on high-quality, caring service in a warm and friendly environment.
Beyond implants, the practice offers wisdom tooth removal, exposure of impacted teeth, corrective jaw surgery, treatment of facial injuries, oral pathology, pre-prosthetic surgery, platelet rich plasma, and bone morphogenetic protein. The staff is trained to assist with intravenous anesthesia in the office. The Boardman office is open Monday through Thursday from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM and Friday from 8:00 AM to noon, and the practice accepts CareCredit financing. Patients come from Boardman, Canfield, Poland, Struthers, Youngstown, Austintown, Warren, Columbiana, and surrounding communities.
Meet the Doctors
The practice's clinical team includes oral and maxillofacial surgeons Mark L. Billy, DDS, Craig A. Wagley, DDS, MD, and Neilson L. Wagley, DMD. Dr. Billy joined the practice in 1996 and Dr. Craig Wagley in 1999; the two have staffed both the Austintown and Boardman offices. Dr. Craig Wagley earned his dental degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, completed his oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland, graduated from Case Western Reserve Medical School, and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Dr. Neilson Wagley, the son of Dr. Craig Wagley, joined the team in 2021.
