Dr. Gates is the best! Really super nice . Didn't feel any pain. If you are worried or fearful of the dentist....they will put your mind at ease. They are great!

I had an amazing experience with this dental office. I had to have a root canal. I wasn’t even an established patient ( yet) and they got me in so quickly. And they were able to get me into surgery swiftly. I am now healing and happily pain free. I am now a very thankful patient of theirs. So if you’re looking for a dentist, that not only has your best interest at heart, but are amazing at what they do, you have to visit Mirelez Wellness Dental. From the front office, to everyone in-between, they were very professional and kind.

last week i asked for appt to let them check the extraction Dr Gates did three weeks prior. i think Nancy texted me back and said for me to send a picture of the area. And I did last Friday or Saturday. then today she texted if 1:40pm today was ok with me I said yes and i got there at 1:30pm. in 10-15 min they took me to the Chair. Asst asked me about bump. she felt it. i asked why they didnt do an post op xray. Gates had told me the tooth had a hook at the top. She agreed to xray it. She said it was clear, but didnt show it to me. Then I waited and waited and waited. Asst came in and said doc was with patient. then i waited some more, one hour and 15 min i asked a worker why wasnt i seen? that when Asst told me the front clerk had said I just walked it. then i was angry because that was a lie. I said why would i come on time to a 1:40 appt if i didnt have one. i had one It on my phone!!!

Meet the Doctors
Mirelez Wellness Dental is led by Dr. J. Art Mirelez, Jr., DDS. Born in Fresno and raised in nearby Caruthers, Dr. Mirelez earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of California, San Francisco School of Dentistry in 2002, then completed a General Practice Residency at Fresno's University Medical Center. He is a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry, and he is also a Kois Center graduate, mentor, and clinical instructor. Patients are also cared for by Dr. Christopher R. Gates, DMD. Dr. Gates grew up in Fresno, earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular and Cell Biology from the University of California, Berkeley, and received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine in 2010.
