Dr. Miyamoto is top notch! I would rate him a 10 out of 10. He is extremely knowledgeable, answered all my questions thoroughly and addressed my issues 100 per cent. His staff is very competent and kind. As a new patient I will be returning to his practice with a great deal of enthusiasm.

Dr. Mike and his staff are amazing! They are friendly, knowledgeable and extremely professional. I had them fit me for a custom mouth guard for sleep apnea and it was life changing! I finally wake up feeling refreshed instead of exhausted all the time and the mouth guard is infinitely better than the CPAP machine in terms of comfort and convenience. Highly recommended.

I attended the University of Maryland Dental School along with Dr. Miyamoto. We all saw how intelligent and talented he was. I’m certain he’s an awesome dentist.

Miyamoto Dental Design Suite is a general, cosmetic and restorative dental office located at 1885 Main Street, Suite 203 in Wailuku, on the island of Maui. The practice describes itself as a state-of-the-art office where patient comfort and individualized attention come first, and it treats patients of all ages, with new patient forms available for both adults and children. Services span preventive care such as comprehensive exams, digital x-rays, cleanings, periodontal treatment and oral cancer screenings, along with cosmetic treatments including tooth whitening, porcelain and resin veneers, and smile design and makeovers. The office also offers treatment for jaw joint disorders (TMJ and TMD) and sleep-disordered breathing with custom oral appliances.
For patients with missing teeth, the practice provides implant crowns and bridges as well as All-On-X implant hybrid dentures, a full-arch approach that replaces an entire row of teeth on as few as four implants. The site explains that implants are angled to make the most of existing bone, which in many cases avoids bone grafting, and that in many cases extractions, implant placement and a temporary set of teeth can be completed in a single day. Other restorative options include composite white fillings, inlays and onlays, same-day CEREC crowns, conventional crowns and bridges, and removable partial and full dentures. Miyamoto Dental Design Suite is led by Dr. Michael Miyamoto, DDS, who earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery with honors from the Baltimore College of Dental Surgery in 1987, where he was selected for the Gamma Pi Delta Prosthodontic Honor Society. According to the practice, he has practiced dentistry on Maui for 30 years alongside his father, Dr. Alan Miyamoto, and has completed more than 1,400 hours of advanced continuing education. His work emphasizes cosmetic and restorative dentistry, including crowns, bridges, implants and dentures, as well as general and family dentistry and conservative treatment of jaw joint disorders.
