I moved from Oak Ridge and needed a new dentist. It took a couple of weeks, but I got in with Dr. Ricker. It was a great experience. All of the staff was professional and kind. I had to have a tooth filled because it had came out, and she made sure I was comfortable and fully numb. They told me to raise my hand at any time if I needed a break. Happy to say I have found my new dentist in Morristown. I have horrible anxiety with dentists, and they made me feel comfortable.

The office has the rudest people I have ever come across. They are most definitely not patient friendly, especially the office manager, Robbie Turner and Kelley Jackson, the receptionist. I have never been treated like I didn’t matter or treated as if were trash. It’s like they didn’t want to help me since I do not have dental insurance. They were extremely condescending! Please do not waste your time or money where the patient doesn’t matter or actual help is offered. I miss my previous dentist, Dr. Perry Doka and his staff! I hate that he retired!

Highly recommend for anyone who hates going to the dentist! I was a nervous wreck couldn't keep my feet still was so nervous. I asked for nitrous told them I was terrified of that huge needle they use. Never felt one thing after the gas was turned on not even the numbing shot almost 4 hours later still numb. My teeth look great!!!

Morristown Dental Center has been serving East Tennessee for more than four decades, offering dental implant care alongside general dentistry services. For patients missing one or more teeth, the practice offers dental implants to help restore chewing ability, maintain tooth spacing, and improve appearance without altering neighboring teeth. Before treatment, patients receive a consultation that includes a health history review and a 3D X-ray to check bone quantity and quality at the implant site.
The implant process at Morristown Dental Center is broken into clear steps, from the initial consult and scan through implant surgery, healing, uncovering, impressions, and final crown delivery. Bone grafting or sinus lifting may be included if needed, and the practice notes that bone integration typically takes four to six months before the crown is placed. Once an implant is complete, the team continues to monitor it at hygiene visits with X-rays and specialized cleaning to help it last.
Meet the Doctors
Care at Morristown Dental Center is provided by Dr. Tyler Hamilton, DDS, and Dr. Summer Ricker, DMD. Dr. Hamilton is a Morristown native who earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in 2015 and has an interest in using dental implant technology for both single tooth and full mouth cases. Dr. Ricker, also originally from Morristown, earned her Doctorate of Medicine in Dentistry from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry in 2021 and has completed additional training in aesthetic and functional treatment planning at the Pankey Institute.
