This is by far the worst Mortenson Family Dental location I have ever been to. I've been a patient of Mortenson offices for more than 20 years, and this experience was incredibly disappointing. I've never received such a high bill after an initial visit, even with insurance. To make matters worse, they didn't complete my cleaning in one appointment, so I had to arrange childcare and return on a separate day. The cleaning itself was very rough and painful. When I called to discuss the unexpected charges, the representative I spoke with was not helpful and made no effort to address my concerns. I asked if she could escalate it, and I was put on hold for 10 minutes and was still not helped. What frustrates me most is that multiple sets of X-rays and photos were taken without anyone explaining that they would cost an additional $129 or asking whether I wanted them done. I also don't understand why they were necessary when my previous X-rays should have been available through another Mortenson office. After this experience, I'll be returning to the Louisville office for my dental care and my family of 7 will not return to this office. Unfortunately, I can't recommend this location.

Appointment went smooth from check-in to check-out. I never have an issue with scheduling appointments, no long waiting when I arrive, dental techs are all polite and friendly. Would recommend Mortenson Family Dental to all my family and friends.

This was my first visit at Mortensons Elizabethtown. The hygienist, Maddy was very professional but friendly. She did a great job doing the X-rays and cleaning. I felt very comfortable with her and Dr Lawrence. The front desk girls were very nice as well.

Doctor Matt and his staff were amazing. I can't brag on Atausha enough. I informed her I was nervous about dentist offices and she eased all of my concerns. I had come to terms with having to have my tooth pulled before arriving at their facility and they were able to save it. 10/10. Stop scrolling and make an appointment!

I have gone to this dentist office since I was 14 and I’m now turning 21 this year. I have had a couple of issues in the past but with the way the office staff and the dentist treated me, we continued to go here. I recently went to have a crown put on and the whole process was a nightmare. When it came time for the dentist to put the needle in my mouth, I told him multiple times I wasn’t ready and he ignored what I said and still put his hand up to my mouth to put his finger in. I had to pull my head away from him due to him refusing to listen. I have never had that happen to me before. Well a couple days go by and I had started flossing with a flosser pick and it got stuck and pulled the crown off due to there being no room to floss. I go back in to have it put back on and the dental assistant puts the temp on and asks me to bite down. I told her felt funny and she then stated “no, not does it feel funny, does it feel right?” So I repeated myself that it felt funny. She had the tooth on completely backwards. I was also told that if it came off again to put tooth paste on it and to put it back on instead of just making a bigger gap for me to floss correctly. They also want me to wait 4 months with the temp that is falling off again as I type this due to being booked out until then. I wish I never let them touch my mouth because now I have to spend thousands out of my own pocket to fix what they did.
