I am very happy with the process and results of my recent oral surgery. The admitting staff were professional, efficient and addressed all of my concerns. Dr. LaMothe and the entire surgical team were organized and kept me informed about each step of the process. I elected to use a local anesthetic for the tooth extraction and it was completely pain-free with no complications. The Santa Cruz office is fairly new, clean and equipped with modern equipment. The most important component of the practice was the supportive, friendly Drs and staff. Everyone wanted to be there to help the patients achieve the best possible result with minimum discomfort. I would highly recommend MOSA Santa Cruz for any procedure that requires their expertise.

Had a very nice experience with the group at MOSA on Portola in Capitola. Jackie was phenomenal as the assistant as well as Sarah! The front office ladies were kind and efficient. The two oral surgeons were clear with directions and Dr. Lloyd took me through the surgery with expertise even when there had been a hiccup in my o2sat. You all are so boss! Thank you! ❤️❤️

The thought of undergoing oral surgery is scary. You need a confident surgeon you can trust. I highly recommend Dr. Lloyd and his competent team at Mosa Oral maxillofacial and implant surgery. I was referred by Dr. Drew (my dentist) to Dr. Lloyd when my tooth broke off at the gum line. Turns out the tooth next to it had an infection and with a root canal, I felt no pain. It was recommended to extract teeth #’s 13, 14 and place grafts preparing for implants. During the consultation Dr. Lloyd laid out the process in an easy to understand format answering my questions and addressing my concerns. The office specialists Laura and Liz were professional, knowledgeable, friendly and very organized! His surgical assistants Sarah and Jackie were knowledgeable and caring putting my mind at ease and calming my nerves. After my consultation with Dr. Lloyd, my pharmacy information was taken so the medications I would need after the surgery were prescribed and available for me to pick up ahead of time. I was prepared with instructions on medication to take the morning prior to my procedure and questions I had the evening before were answered so I felt completely prepared. Dr. Lloyd performed extractions on two of my upper teeth (13, 14) and placed grafts. The procedures went smooth and before I knew it was done and on my way home. The office called to check on me about 4 hours after the surgery and the next morning Dr. Lloyd called personally to check in on me. I felt very cared for! My one week follow-up appointment went well and now 2 weeks out, my gums are healed. Next step is for me to grow enough bone for successful implants!

This one was of the absolute best medical or dental experiences I've ever had. The staff was just amazing: they clearly worked as a team, often sharing fun banter or laughing whenever I was there. They were completely on top of my appointments, scheduling, insurance and all other details of the oral surgery procedure. Drs. Lamothe and Lloyd were professional, knew their business very well and helped me understand the procedure both before and on the day of the work. I give this business 5 stars without hesitation!!

I had a great experience with Dr. Ryan Lloyd and the entire MOSA staff. They were incredibly professional exhibiting competence and confidence which in turn helped to allay my own fears and concerns. The communication pre-op, during the procedure and post-op was all top-notch. I couldn't recommend them more.
