Friendly staff, great business that took over the Bateman dentistry. Solid location next to the high school. Modern equipment and I was able to have appliance replaced with exceptional results. Not greedy and won’t take advantage of you like other dentists I have had in the past.

I had been a patient for a couple years when I ended up with excruciating pain in an upper molar where I could not sleep or eat. I had xrays done with them, but was never informed that I had any decay on that tooth. I called right away to be seen as an emergency situation and the secretary told me they couldn't see me for at least 2 weeks. I told her I was in intense pain and feeling very sick and needed to be looked at right away and in a very rude tone she told me the doctor had been on vacation so they were behind schedule, and I would just have to "wait my turn". I could not believe she would not work with me for an emergency visit. I ended up canceling my future cleaning appointment and dropping them as my dentist. Its not acceptable to treat your patients like that especially in emergency situations. I ended up finding another dentist that saw me the very same day, and they have been great so I continue to go to them and am very happy with how they treat their patients.
The tooth was so severely infected that I had to go to Urgent Care while waiting for a root canal procedure and was told at the Urgent Care that the infection had spread to my body and it was very dangerous. I'm so glad I didn't accept the secretary's two week wait or I would probably be dead from sepsis.
I do not recommend this place to anyone!

I’ve been going to Moss Family Dentistry in Kingsport for about a year now, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. The service is always fast and easy, which I really appreciate. Everyone there is so nice and welcoming—it makes going to the dentist a lot more pleasant! From the front desk to the hygienists and dentists, the whole team is friendly and professional. Highly recommend if you’re looking for quality care in a warm, efficient environment.

I’ve been going to Dr Bateman at this location since 1995 when I was 5 years old! Sometime in the 2010s, his son Dr Jake Bateman took over, and also great! A new young dentist has recently taken over (I’m sorry I forgot the name), and she is excellent too! I really appreciate the short wait times, and the fact that all treatments are done in totally private rooms. The new dentist recently did a difficult filling for me, and I really appreciate her compassionate approach, even as I had a lot of anxiety and pain. I cannot recommend this dental office enough!

I never have to wait long once I check in. The hygienist, Whitney, is amazing. I have seen all the dentists in the office and every one is very informative, knowledgeable and caring. The lady at the front desk, Christina, is an asset to the office. I never have to give her my name, she knows it. She is a gem, personable and always very sweet. She is one of the reasons I continue to go there. I used to have such a fear going to the dentist and avoided it for way too long. That all changed once I went to this office for a wisdom tooth issue. It is a half hour drive from my house but it is worth the drive for me. I am patient for life.
