The surgeon was direct, did a great job and was considerate of even the tiniest issues. But its the women in that office that make the entire experience worth it. Everyone was kind, thorough, professional and best of all humorous. I will always go there if I need work done, and the next time I go ill make sure to ask the name of the wonderfully tanned woman with all the energy. Shes best friend material for sure

Oh my goodness! My doctor Ravelo was super. He was so kind and personable with a wonderful sense of humor. I was there for an extraction. Six minutes and he was done. His assistant, TJ was just great. He was so good at his job. He was actually amazing because I felt like I had a new best friend by the time I left.

I came in for a fibroma removal and lip biopsy and may have gotten a little dramatic during the numbing injections (no shame), but my CST, TJ, handled it like a total pro. He was calm, warm, and on top of everything the entire time – exactly the kind of person you want by your side when someone is about to operate on your face. Dr. Ravelo was fantastic as well. He even made a thoughtful call mid-procedure to protect a nerve that was unusually close to the surface. I got to watch the whole thing and honestly found it kind of cool. Pain is well managed and healing is going great so far. 10/10 would recommend this team to anyone. TJ especially deserves major recognition – he is genuinely excellent at what he does and made me feel so at ease!

The staff were all amazing! The assistant to my surgery was TJ. Very professional and super nice. Put me completely at ease. My surgeon was Dr. Ravelo who made the procedure as smooth as possible. Again very professional and also very nice and kind. I would highly recommend Mountain State Oral and Facial Surgery Teays Valley office to anyone needing these types of services. Pricing is also reasonable.

Went in 4/10/26 to get lower molar extraction. I felt very welcomed here. My doctor (Ravelo), and my nurse (Kelsey) where absolutely amazing! This facility clearly has professional staff here. There was no rush, and they allowed time to make sure I would feel no pain. It was over in no time. I can't thank them enough. I feel so much better now. I would highly recommend this place for all and any dental needs. Dr. Ravelo, Kelsey....THANK YOU!!
