I’ve been a client for 10+ years, my family for even longer. Every employee is friendly and professional. Their team makes you feel welcome and comfortable. Dr. Mandy is a top notch dentist and Kirsten is a fantastic hygienist - thorough but gentle. I have no dental fears or concerns regarding any of my dental needs. I highly recommend the Nelson & Bury Team!

I have been going here for years for all my dental needs. The team here does great work; always professional, friendly and gentle & kind which sure is important while working on your teeth & gums. The prices are good & they work well with insurance companies. I highly recommend them.

I dont even know what to say... I called about 7 different places to see if i can get in for an emergency i was turned away until my last call and it was to them. They got me in within 3 hours of calling them and removed my painful tooth. From the phone call to walking in the building it was nothing but comfort and respect I did not feel like I was being judged like I have in the past. I definitely will be coming back to start a dental plan and would highly recommend them to everyone. Great office and amazing staff.

As a child, I had horrible experiences with our family dentist. The staff at Nelson and Bury make me feel relaxed, comfortable and safe. They've taken time to ensure I'm not experiencing undue pain or discomfort. I've been treated by them since moving to the area nearly 3 years ago and I would recommend them to anyone looking for an outstanding dental practice.

I was able to get in within an hour on a Friday (where oddly enough most dental places are closed on Fridays in Rapid City). They were up front with pricing, and when it ended up being a simpler procedure, they lowered the discussed cost! Nelson & Bury will be the only dentist I go to now, and ill recommend them to everyone

Nelson & Bury Dentistry is a family dental practice located at 1611 Sheridan Lake Road in Rapid City, South Dakota. The practice is dedicated to helping patients and their families achieve and maintain excellent oral health, offering a full range of dental services with quality, personalized care in a friendly and welcoming environment. The team believes in treating patients with honesty and integrity, and takes time at each visit to help people understand their oral health and treatment options.
The office is staffed by four dentists supported by six hygienists, seven certified dental assistants and five administrative team members. Beyond Rapid City, the practice welcomes patients from surrounding communities including Black Hawk, Box Elder, Ellsworth Air Force Base, Hisega, Johnson Siding, Piedmont, Rockerville and Summerset. Appointments can be made by calling (605) 341-3670, with office hours Monday through Thursday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm and Friday from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm.
The dental team includes Dr. James S. Nelson, DDS, Dr. Matthew Bury, DDS, Dr. Mandy Nelson, DMD, and Dr. Jarrett Jensen, DDS. Dr. James Nelson graduated from the University of Minnesota dental school in 1986 and has practiced in the Rapid City area for over 30 years, with a particular enjoyment of large cosmetic cases and full mouth reconstruction. Dr. Matthew Bury, a Rapid City native, completed his dental degree at the University of Nebraska College of Dentistry, graduating at the top of his class with high honors. Dr. Mandy Nelson earned her dental degree at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and focuses on compassionate care that eases dental anxiety. Dr. Jarrett Jensen, born and raised in South Dakota, completed his dental degree at Creighton University School of Dentistry and is passionate about delivering quality care with a gentle touch.
