I got an appointment as a new patient next day. Friendly and knowledgeable receptionist. Approval process was completed quickly with a prompt call back, thanks Bonida! Tech was gentle and friendly. Doctor was nice. Definitely recommend!

I went here out of desperation no where would take my insurance or new patients. First appointment seemed to go well X-rays set up appointment for a root canal I paid half of my bill dental hygienist said if a deep clean isn’t approved they can just do a cleaning. I go to my next appointment pay the rest of the mandatory gingevectomy . I sit and wait over an hour ended up walking out. They claimed I no called no showed. Ended up making another appointment. They called me and canceled my appointment because I need a cleaning. So it’s rescheduled. Went to it accidentally showed up the day before they were kind enough to squeeze me in. Sit in the back with the lady who does the finance side of things she then tells me they need 900 more dollars for the deep clean. She wouldn’t work with me on doing just a cleaning. So I said give me my 700 I already paid back. Older lady came in she was terrible kept arguing with me said wait till I need dentures if I think this is expensive. I said I’m non confrontational and just give me my money back. They do not care they do not want to help you. She said I would only get 500 something back because I no called no showed I’m like for the root canal that I came for before having this now mandatory deep cleaning. Waited a week no refund called and I luckily got my full refund. But do not waste ur time my tooth is now broken after all this headache

I always receive these brochures from them and decided it’s time for a check-up. Called and this woman picked up whom I could barely hear. The connection was crackly. She asked how she could help me and I asked if they were accepting new patients and she tersely said “for what!?” I offered to call back to see if we could get a better connection (never had a problem from my line before). I told her I just wanted a routine cleaning. She then tersely said, “no, what’s your insurance.” I explained politely that I have Delta Dental but was never sent the card and that my old dentist would just look it up by name and DOB or SSN. That apparently irritated her because she then sounded upset and said she couldn’t help me and that I had to call back once I “figure out where [my] card is.” So I went onto Delta Dental website and there’s even a section that says “No ID card is required to schedule an appointment or for your visit. Your dental office can look up your coverage with the primary member's basic information: Name Date of birth Social Security Number or Enrollee ID number” So I called back several times to see if she could kindly just look it up, but kept getting a sketchy voicemail. It sounded like someone’s personal voicemail and not a professional one, but it was definitely the same number given on the brochure. I decided based on the weird interaction I’ll go elsewhere. They need to work on that first crucial patient interaction if they want more/new business. She sounded super annoyed that I was even calling in the first place. Called another practice and they were able to look up my info easy peasy.

I was a patient at NY Dental years ago and they crowned some teeth that had been in bad shape for years. I was very happy with the service I received. My wife had lost a few front teeth and needed implants to fix it. The insurance company refused to pay for it, saying it was cosmetic and not needed. NY Dental worked with my insurance and got them to cover it. We paid extra to get upgraded implants. My wife was very happy and smiled a lot more. We were both very happy! Shortly after this, we both stopped coming in for regular cleanings after they canceled two cleaning appointments in a row on me. Recently - For a few weeks I had pain in one of the teeth that was crowned and had lost another crown. The pain was so bad that I could not chew on that side of my mouth. I called NY Dental last week and they got me in super fast. The staff were all amazing! The took X-rays and told me that there was nothing wrong with the crown and that I would need to see a specialist if I wanted a root canal and that my insurance would not cover the specialist. I sensed a slight attitude in the dentist. He told me I should have been in to see them sooner. I grind my teeth, so I asked if a tooth guard would help with my pain. He said it may help, but no promises. I was supposed to get one years ago and my insurance covers one, so they fitted me for it that day and scheduled me for a cleaning this week. That evening I was laying in bed and my nose started running. I got up, blew my nose and realized that my sinuses had been full of dark, thick mucus. I had a borderline sinus infection! The next day the pressure on the crowned tooth felt much better. a few days later and my pain was all gone. Dr Pannu was correct in his diagnosis of my tooth pain. Today I went in and had a dental cleaning (it has been a few years) and was very happy with the service I received. The staff all seems wonderful to me. Both this week and last week I arrived on time and only waited a short time in the waiting room. Next week I pick up my tooth guard. I am on the NY State Essential Plan for insurance and not a lot of places accept it. I am grateful that NY Dental does and that they were able to help me so quickly and get me back in as a patient. Their office is beautiful, everything is high tech and all of the technicians are super nice.

I am very disappointed with my experience at New York Dental & Implant Center regarding my mom's night guard. We have had an ongoing issue since August 2025, and as of January 2026, the night guard still has not been provided. Multiple appointments were scheduled specifically for picking up the night guard. Each time we arrived, we were told they could not locate it and the appointment had to be rescheduled. This has happened repeatedly. Because of these repeated issues, I have had to take time off from work several times with no resolution. The lack of organization, follow-through, and communication has been extremely frustrating. At this point, after months of delays and missed appointments, we still do not have the night guard. I hope the office improves its internal processes so other patients do not experience the same situation.
