The nurse working with Dr. Clemow, in our opinion, was not welcoming or comforting at all. My daughter was extremely scared and anxious throughout the entire experience, yet no one made any effort to help put her at ease.
There was no small talk, no reassurance, no attempt to distract her from the unfamiliar environment or what was about to happen. A few kind words, explaining each step, or simply acknowledging how nervous she was could have made a tremendous difference. Instead, the room felt cold and silent.
In fact, my daughter was the one who tried to start a conversation before going under anesthesia because she was so nervous. Even then, the staff barely engaged with her and did not seem concerned when she expressed how frightened she was. As a parent, that was heartbreaking to hear.
The procedure itself went well, but bedside manner matters—especially when caring for anxious teenagers. Compassion and reassurance are just as important as clinical skill. Unfortunately, we felt that effort was completely lacking during our experience.
If you are the parent of a teen and are looking for a practice where your child will be treated with warmth, kindness, and genuine compassion, I would not recommend this office based on our experience. The nurse asked about three different times if we knew we had to pay upfront. Yes we knew, yes we paid the receptionist when we registered before the surgery. I’m still trying to understand why she was more concerned about that than my daughter.

Dr. Clemow and his staff were so accommodating. I went there to have my son's wisdom teeth removed and it was amazing. The procedure was efficient and painless for my son who usually cries at the doctor's office. The staff coached us through the surgery and what to do in the following days. Dr. Clemow even personally called to make sure my son was alright. Highly recommend if you need oral surgery 😁

My son had his wisdom teeth removed by Dr Bartholomew. Dr. Bartholomew was so accommodating. He added him onto the end of his already full schedule to allow for quick removal. The office staff is kind and friendly. My son recovered wonderfully and I appreciated that Dr Bartholomew called to check on him!

I was nervous to get my implant but the staff was so nice explaining everything I started feeling more relaxed. Thank you Dr Clemow for checking on me you did a great job. 5+plus stars with no problem 😊

Dr. Clemow performed a molar bone graft with a post implant under sedation. I didn’t feel a thing … I have high dental anxiety. Procedure completed in less than one hour. I was impressed w professionalism of doctor and staff. Facilities clean with modern equipment. Several months before my surgery, Dr. Clemow met with me and reviewed everything that was going to take place during the procedure. I like to ask a lot of questions. Lol. Dr. Clemow was very kind and took his time answering my questions. Highly recommend. 🙂
