Dr. McDonough and his staff were exceptionally kind, professional, and efficient throughout our experience. They provided outstanding care for my daughter’s wisdom teeth extraction. His nurse, Lindsay, took the time to explain everything thoroughly and carefully listened to our concerns.
Prior to surgery, Dr. McDonough clearly reviewed the procedure, recovery process, and expected healing timeline. He demonstrated genuine compassion and empathy, which helped put my daughter at ease as a patient.
After the procedure, we were provided with an ice pack, detailed instructions, and post-operative wound care supplies. The entire team was attentive, supportive, and reassuring. We left feeling confident that our daughter had received excellent care and was in very capable hands.
In the future, I will definitely be using Dr. McDonoungh and his amazing staff.

Northeast Arkansas Center for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery is the best! Procedure was quck and I knew nothing that was going on. The way a dental procedure is supposed to go! Huge shout out to Lindsay for taking care of me today during my tooth extraction. Lindsay welcomed me, and made me feel totally at ease prior to the procedure. She was an absolute doll. She took care of me the whole time. Walked me out to my vehicle and saw that I was settled in and ready to be taken home. She took excellent care of me. She is on my short list for a new adopted granddaughter. Thank you so much for the care and comfort. PS if I was difficult, I don't know what i was doing and I do apologize.

I had an impacted wisdom tooth removed by Dr. Phillips years ago and everything went great. When my Mom needed to see an oral surgeon, I was telling her how great NEAOMS is. She is currently seeing Dr. McDonough and receiving excellent care. Everyone is so nice and even follow up with you after you leave.

My son had all four of his wisdom teeth removed today, and from the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed and cared for. The entire staff was kind, but I have to give a special shoutout to Heather. She went above and beyond to make our first experience a great one. She was friendly, reassuring, and made us feel comfortable every step of the way. Thank you, Heather, and the entire team for taking such great care of my son!

Raise your hand if you dislike the dentist! Alright, now put hands down because this place is amazing!!! Every one of the staff members are courteous and smile when talking to you. I feel heard and respected by them. The work performed was top notch by the doctor. They were very concerned if I was comfortable during surgery. I had no choice rather than to be awake for this last operation, but I was so relaxed that I found myself twirling my thumbs as he drilled into my jaw. Crazy, right! Thank you, to all of you at this office!! It was worth the 2 hr drive there every time!

About Northeast Arkansas Center for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery
Northeast Arkansas Center for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery is an oral surgery practice located at 2609 Browns Lane in Jonesboro, Arkansas. The practice describes itself as the only nationally accredited oral and maxillofacial surgery clinic in the region, holding accreditation from the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care, and it serves patients of all ages throughout Northeast Arkansas, Southern Missouri and Western Tennessee. For patients missing one or more teeth, the practice places dental implants to help restore a natural looking smile. Intravenous sedation is offered so patients can get through procedures comfortably, and the surgeons also treat impacted wisdom teeth, which can lead to dental health complications if left in place. The practice notes that its surgeons and team stay current on oral and maxillofacial surgical technology, and the office will bill a patient's insurance company directly when insurance information is provided.
