Had two great visits at northeast family dental care over the last year. Francia scheduled me both times, Tiffany was my kind and careful hygienist and Dr. Arshad was super knowledgeable. They are such a friendly staff, make you feel at home, do great work, super cleanly and well kept environment and genuinely the best dental office experience I’ve had in 30+ years. I highly recommend them!!

Big day. Having work done. Needed some dental care, when to my dentist they told me I only needed a cleaning. I told him I had a lot of pain and concerns. They said they could not find nothing so I went for a second opinion. He took the time to talk to me. Was able to identified the problem, and I'm here today to have the work done. They were able to accommodate my schedule, get me in early. Great stuff Hello How, so far has been a great From here on out, this is my new dentist

We are so fortunate to have found such a lovely dentist practice. Everyone is so kind! I grew up going to an “in the neighborhood” dentist and that is exactly what this practice is. They truly care about you and make you feel like family.

I’ve been a patient at this dental office since childhood, and it continues to be the best. The hygienists are kind and thorough, Dr. Ashad is outstanding and genuinely caring, and the receptionist is always efficient and welcoming. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Northeast Family Dental Care is a family dental practice at 680 Prospect Boulevard in Elgin, Illinois. The office first opened in 1986, and in October 2022 Dr. Omar Arshad took over the practice from its founding dentist, Dr. William Galanes. The team offers a broad range of services for patients of all ages, including general dentistry with checkups and cleanings, cosmetic dentistry such as fillings, bonding, and porcelain crowns, pediatric dentistry, orthodontic services with braces and clear aligners, emergency dental care, and dental implants to replace missing teeth. The practice also offers appointments in Spanish.
For patients missing one or more teeth, or struggling with loose dentures, the practice offers dental implants as a long-term replacement that looks and functions like a natural tooth. An implant consultation begins with a comprehensive exam of the teeth, gums, jawbone, and bite, along with x-rays and impressions to determine whether there is enough bone to support an implant, followed by a customized treatment plan. The office accepts PPO dental insurance plans, offers CareCredit financing for larger treatment plans, and has an in-house wellness program for patients without insurance. Hours include early morning and evening appointments on select weekdays, plus one Saturday per month.
Dr. Omar Arshad, DMD, is the dentist and owner of Northeast Family Dental Care. He earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry in 2011 and worked as an associate dentist in the Midwest for eleven years before acquiring the Elgin practice in October 2022. His experience spans cosmetic and restorative dentistry, dental implants, and root canal treatment, and he continues his education through seminars, continuing education courses, and study clubs. He is supported by hygienists Tiffany, Tish, and Carolyn, dental assistant Rae, and office coordinator Francy.
