Dr. Robertson and his staff were exceptional with my daughter. She was very nervous ahead of her surgery and they were calm, professional, and answered all her questions well. We traveled from out of state to see this oral surgeon and we are grateful for him.

Had an amazing experience getting my Wisdom teeth removed here! I was super anxious about the whole idea. When I went for my consult, I felt so comfortable and Dr. Robertson took the time to explain everything and answer my concerns. When I went for my appointment I felt so taken care of by everyone! The girls were so sweet and knew exactly how to calm my nerves. They made sure I had a great experience!! I healed super great as well! Highly recommend them 😊

My wife recently had her wisdom teeth removed and after she came to, we started chatting about her oral surgeon. I mentioned how he was aggressive and unnecessarily rude, and my wife realized she had the same experience. After she told me some of the things he said to her, I was already feeling that I needed to write this review. However, my wife was extremely swollen after 5 days of intense pain and realized something was not right, so she called and made an appointment to return to the oral surgeon. This time, he accused her of smoking and when she stated that she honestly didn’t (who would smoke after an oral surgery?), she said that he “just stared at [her], making a face of disbelief.” He proceeded to be very aggressive in checking on her healing process, therefore reversing some of the healing process, and disregarded her cries for pain. No numbing agent, no consideration of it hurting so bad, that she kicked the dentistry tool table. I’m writing this in lieu of her because she “didn’t want to be responsible for a business looking bad.” When I told her I was going to write this review, she said please just make sure you mention that the front desk staff and dental assistants were very kind. However, if you need an oral surgery and want to risk it healing incorrectly, like to be belittled, and disregarded when crying out in pain, it sounds to me like this is the place for you. Ps: she was told to go to a follow-up appointment to check on the healing process, but she refused to go because of the doctor. She had her wisdom teeth removed 5/2 and is still swollen today, 5/17. We’ll go for a checkup at another place of business.

This office has been trouble to deal with. They didn't care about my pain, and showed me a paper telling me Tylenol and ibuprofen works better than anything else. Can you not prescribe like 2 days worth wow, office manager is a joke to deal with also.

Dr. Robertson in short is very knowledgeable and very helpful and accommodating. I had to get two wisdom teeth pulled. Then about a week later the bone from my lower jaw splintered causing the splinter to push through my gums under my tongue. Causing excessive pain. Dr. Robertson and his amazing team were able to get me in immediately and fix it. I 100% recommend Dr. Robertson.

About Northern Colorado Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery

Northern Colorado Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery is an oral surgery practice located at 1008 Centre Avenue, Suite B in Fort Collins, Colorado. The practice describes its focus as oral surgery and dental implants, and its stated mission is to help patients live healthier lives in a caring, nurturing environment where comfort and health come first. Along with Fort Collins, the practice serves patients from Loveland, Windsor, Timnath, Wellington, Laporte, Greeley, Severance, Ault, Berthoud, Longmont, and Estes Park.

For patients considering dental implants, the practice offers implant placement, treatment options for people missing all of their upper or lower teeth, implant supported overdentures, and bone grafting for implants, including ridge augmentation and sinus lift procedures. Implant treatment is handled as a team effort: the oral surgeon performs the extractions, bone grafting, and implant surgery, while the patient's own restorative dentist makes the final replacement teeth. Other services listed on the practice website include wisdom teeth removal, tooth extractions, pre-prosthetic surgery, oral pathology, exposure of impacted teeth, platelet-rich fibrin, and anesthesia. The first visit consists of a consultation explaining the diagnosis and treatment options, and the office notes that surgery can occasionally be performed the same day. Online patient registration and CareCredit financing information are available on the website.
