One week ago today, I had all 4 wisdom teeth removed at Northern VA Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. I’m 72 & was a little apprehensive about the surgery. I arrived 10 minutes early & was greeted by a pleasant receptionist who gave me some paperwork to fill out. After about 15 minutes a technician called out my name & took me back to the dental room. He reviewed my records for currency & verified I was there for wisdom teeth removal. He took front & back X-rays to give Dr Zadeh the best look at my teeth. He departed the room & Maria introduced herself & started preparing the room for surgery while explaining how the surgery process would proceed. Dr Zadeh came in & introduced himself & confirmed he would be removing all wisdom teeth. Maria then put me on laughing gas & I asked several questions about the surgery until Dr Zadeh returned to give me the numbing shots before the surgery. Did not feel any pain due to the laughing gas & my relaxed state. Before Dr Zadeh returned 15 minutes later, Maria was very professional & pleasant in talking with me to help pass the time before surgery began. This was a big deal to me to put me at ease. Dr Zadeh returned & confirmed with Maria that we were ready to go. What I liked about Dr Zadeh is he explained how the surgery would go & then got to it. His surgical skills were outstanding & he announced each tooth as he removed it. The order was bottom then upper right, then the lower & upper left. After each removal, Maria & Dr Zadeh carefully sewed me up without any pain. Felt firm pressure without pain while removing lower teeth, while upper teeth removal was a piece of cake. As best as I can tell, Dr Zadeh & Maria had all 4 teeth removed in about 30 minutes! Post recovery took about 20 minutes & I drove him with a lot of gauze to deal with the normal bleeding & picked up painkiller meds for the healing process. My healing process was normal & without any complications. All in all, just a great job by the entire professional & friendly Northern CA team!!

The whole experience was far pass my expectations. The front desk staff was kind, friendly, professional and helpful. As for my oral surgeon, Sergio Calleja Bianco, the only words to describe him are Awesome, Great, Outstanding and Magnificent. He was gentle and caring while extracting a broken tooth, which i thought would need cutting the gums. But with his exceptional expertise, he had it out before I realized what had happened. Oh by the way, he has a great bedside manner.

Never ever again. The actual surgery was fine but I felt like I was treated like a second class citizen. He pulled the tooth never came back in the room. The two assistants he left to put back on my temporary were nice. But they kept asking each other what they should do to reapply my temporary. They did not clean the old glue off well at all. They just put more glue on it and not 2 hours after I left it was loose in my mouth like a piece of candy. I had to rush back to my general dentist before they closed for the weekend and have it property cleaned and re-affixed it.

I had my wisdom tooth removed on 1/30/26, and I can honestly say the entire team made what could have been a stressful experience feel smooth and comfortable. Everyone in the office was professional, kind, and welcoming from start to finish.
A special thank you to Isaiah — he was incredibly helpful and attentive. He answered all of my questions, helped ease my nerves before I went to sleep, and made sure I felt comfortable during recovery as well. His care and compassion truly made a painful experience much more pleasant.
I highly recommend this office to anyone needing oral surgery. Thank you again for such excellent care!

Had both wisdom teeth on my left taken out. One tooth needed bone graft. Dr.Zadeh of doing a great job explaining the procedure the day of the consultation and day of surgery. They were well preapared in providing information and surgery was smooth.
