Six months ago, I accidentally cracked a tooth, and my primary dentist had to extract it. Three months ago, I visited Dr. David Zhu’s office after hearing about the excellent implant experience my wife had with him. During the consultation, Dr. Zhu discovered that the tooth next to the missing one had a fractured root and also needed to be removed. I was concerned about having to wait another three months before getting a second implant. After carefully evaluating the condition of my jawbone, Dr. Zhu explained that he could extract the damaged tooth and place two implants during the same procedure. He patiently answered all my questions and addressed my concerns, which gave me confidence to move forward with the plan. Dr. Zhu is highly professional and skilled. The surgery went smoothly and was successful. At my follow-up appointment today, he confirmed that the implants have healed well and that I am ready for the crowns. It has been a truly positive experience. I sincerely appreciate Dr. Zhu’s expertise and would highly recommend him to anyone considering dental implants.

Dr Zhu and the whole staff was simply AWESOME!!! I had a tooth extracted and post inserted. There was absolutely no pain in both procedures. When any pressure air noise was going to happen, Dr Zhu gave me a heads up so I wouldn’t be startled. I highly recommend Dr Zhu and the whole NW Periodontics staff

I was referred by my dentist and experience has been great so far. Appointments are easy to make, and I was seen right away. The office is clean, the equipment looks modern, and everyone on staff is friendly. Dr. Akimoto was really nice during my consultation and explained everything clearly.

Great office, had gum grafts done and everyone was very honest and clear about expectations, can say if you listen and follow instructions it is not as unpleasant as I expected. Dr. Zhu was very professional and also was very engaging with the patient making sure you were always comfortable throughout the procedure.

They have done a great job for me. Eased my mind when the dentist had a concern, and do good cleanings and suggestions on home care.
