Dr. Miles Cone at Nuance Dental Specialists is truly exceptional. He is intelligent, compassionate, and clearly dedicated to making sure his patients have a positive experience from start to finish. What stands out most is his honesty and the way he takes the time to thoroughly explain treatment options. He does not push unnecessary procedures or make patients feel pressured. Instead, he explains what he sees, outlines the available options, and clearly explains why he recommends a particular course of treatment. Dr. Cone is also incredibly respectful and nonjudgmental, which makes a huge difference in a dental setting. He creates an environment where patients feel heard, informed, and comfortable. Beyond his excellent communication and bedside manner, he is highly skilled and competent. It is obvious that he takes great pride in his work and has a real passion for what he does. I would highly recommend Dr. Cone and Nuance Dental Specialists to anyone looking for expert care from a provider who is honest, kind, and truly excellent at his profession.

After years of disappointing dental experiences, I finally found truly exceptional, high-end care at Nuance Dental with Dr. Miles Cone. As a Board-Certified Prosthodontist specializing in premier cosmetic and implant dentistry in Yarmouth, Maine, his level of expertise, precision, and patient care is simply in a class of its own. I came into this process with a deep distrust of dentistry after a prior dental procedure led to my implant, followed by another dentist placing a crown that was not only poorly executed, but caused ongoing pain and functional issues. By the time I found Dr. Cone, I had spent years navigating frustration, discomfort, and uncertainty. From the very first appointment, Dr. Cone immediately set a different standard. His approach is thoughtful, meticulous, and highly personalized. He took the time to thoroughly evaluate my case, clearly explain what had gone wrong, and outline a refined, comprehensive plan to restore both function and aesthetics. His attention to detail and commitment to excellence are evident in every interaction. Throughout the two-year process, Dr. Cone remained fully invested in achieving the best possible outcome—collaborating closely with my oral surgeon and dentist, and ensuring that every detail was addressed with precision. At one point, he even removed my defective crown during a blizzard, which speaks volumes about his dedication to patient care. The issues with my previous crown were significant—off-centered placement, residual cement, lack of proper contact, and persistent discomfort that made it impossible to chew on that side. Dr. Cone approached each of these concerns with a level of technical expertise and craftsmanship that is rarely found. Yesterday, he placed my new implant crown and the result is nothing short of transformative. For the first time in years, my bite feels completely natural. I can eat comfortably, without pain. I recently had an incredible experience at Dr. Cone’s office, and I couldn’t be happier! I went in for a routine cleaning and professional teeth whitening, and Dr. Cone did an outstanding job. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed by the friendly and professional atmosphere. The modern space is matched by the latest technology making me feel like I was receiving the best care possible. Dr. Cone took the time to explain the different options available and asked about my expectations for each procedure, ensuring that I felt involved and informed throughout the process. The cleaning was thorough yet gentle, leaving my mouth feeling fresh and clean. As for the whitening, the results exceeded my expectations! My teeth look several shades brighter, and I’m absolutely thrilled with the outcome. I have been searching for a dental office for a while now where I feel cared for and I am thrilled to have finally found one. It’s clear that patient care and satisfaction are top priorities here, and I felt completely confident in Dr. Cone's skills.

Dr. Miles Cone is an internationally known Prosthodontist, Dental Technician, and educator. His work on dental implants and cosmetic dentistry is regarded as the best in the world. If you are lucky enough to become a patient at his practice, trust you are in the best hands possible. Great person too!!

I had an excellent experience with Dr. Cone at Nuance Dental Specialists. He was one of the friendliest doctors I’ve ever met. He listened to my concerns and suggested several options for me to consider. My immediate issue was resolved, and he also prepared me for potential future incidents since I live overseas and move around frequently. I truly appreciate his hands-on approach and professional advice, in addition to being so easy to communicate with. If anyone fears dental work, don’t worry—he will make the visit feel like going to your favorite coffee shop.
