I had a great experience during my dental implant consultation. From the moment I walked in, everyone was incredibly warm, friendly, and welcoming. The team was very knowledgeable and took the time to explain everything clearly, which made me feel comfortable and confident about the process. Excellent customer service all around—I truly felt well cared for.

This Nuvia Dental Implant Center is beyond the best. The entire staff are so welcoming and pleasant. Anyone with bad nerves coming to any dental center, these people will calm you down just with their personalities. Come here. I would do 50 stars if I could. Definitely recommend.

My experience at Nuvia, although brief, was exemplary. The staff made me feel like family atmosphere is warm and inviting. Unfortunately, due to radiation that I had to my thyroid, I was not a candidate for implants. aside from being friendly, the staff is top-notch when it came to providing me with information. The possible complications of my previous medical procedures were thoroughly explained to me and it’s comforting to know that Novia has my best interest at heart. Although it was disappointing, the staff was so comforting and supporting, and after being given a warm hug, I left Nuvia feeling good about myself, and the decisions that were made

The center is located in Friendship Heights Village, just off Wisconsin Avenue at 5454 Wisconsin Ave, Suite 1315, and serves patients from Chevy Chase and the surrounding Maryland and Washington, DC area, including Silver Spring, Gaithersburg, College Park, and Greenbelt. Rather than placing patients in a temporary denture for months while implants heal, Nuvia's process delivers a final set of zirconia teeth the day after implant surgery, with the permanent teeth built by the practice's in-house lab.
Every case at the Chevy Chase center is handled by a dedicated team of three providers: an oral surgeon who places the implants, a restorative dentist who designs and builds the permanent teeth, and a certified registered nurse anesthetist who keeps the patient comfortably asleep and monitors safety throughout the procedure. Meet the Doctors
The Chevy Chase center's clinical team includes Dr. Ryan Peters, DMD, an oral and maxillofacial surgeon who earned his dental degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 2014, completed his four-year oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at Walter Reed in Bethesda, Maryland, and served four years in the military before entering private practice in the DC, Maryland, and Virginia area in 2022. Dr. Ryan Richards, also an oral and maxillofacial surgeon, graduated from NYU College of Dentistry and has been practicing for about 10 years. Dr. Jennifer Wells, DMD, serves as the center's restorative dentist. Originally from Arizona, she attended dental school at Midwestern University and has practiced dentistry for the past 10 years, designing and delivering patients' final zirconia teeth the day after implant placement.
