Nuvia staff are very professional, accommodating, and very friendly. They made my journey to a new smile a great experience. They made me feel comfortable and well informed from the time of my first consult with them to the time they gathered together and shared the excitement of my first time seeing my new set of teeth and smile in the mirror. My mom came across this business on social media and although I knew exactly how the experience (sales tactics) would go, they did not disappoint and my mom is scheduled for her procedure in the new year. One of the reasons they put my mom at ease is that nearly every staff member she interacted with (minus the “sales” guy) spoke Spanish, which is a plus for anyone, especially my mom. All staff were incredibly professional, patient, helpful, and put you at ease for something so important. I don’t know the truth about their claimed innovation but their facility is incredibly clean, state of the art, wheelchair accessible (super important for me) and reasonably located. Medical staff credentials (licenses and degrees) are visibly displayed on a digital frame at the front counter. We are hopeful for a safe, effective and smooth process during and after her surgery.

Rather than wearing temporary teeth for months, patients have implants placed by an oral surgeon while asleep under anesthesia and monitored by a certified registered nurse anesthetist, then return the next day to have their final zirconia teeth secured in place. Meet the Doctors
The clinical team at Nuvia Dental Implant Center in Encino includes two oral and maxillofacial surgeons and a restorative dentist. Dr. Omid Niavarani, DDS, earned his biology degree at the University of California, Irvine, attended the University of the Pacific school of dentistry, completed a one-year internship in the Louisiana State University Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery program, and finished his surgical training at UCSF Fresno. He is a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, California Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and Orange County Dental Society. Dr. Dom Medina, DDS, is an oral and maxillofacial surgeon who, after dental school and his oral and maxillofacial surgery residency, spent a year working with oral cancer patients on full mouth reconstructions before joining Nuvia in Encino. Dr. Richard Che, DDS, is the center's restorative dentist. He grew up in Los Angeles, attended college and dental school at UCLA, and pursued further education in prosthodontics at UCSF.
