I recently had a crown done at Ocala Smiles, and I cannot say enough great things about Dr. Evelyn and the entire team. Dr. Evelyn is truly the best dentist I have ever had — and I’ve been to many over the years. I had scarlet fever as a child, which led to a lifetime of dental work and countless dentists, so finding someone this skilled, gentle, and genuinely caring feels like a gift.
Dr. Evelyn made the entire process easy and comfortable, and his attention to detail is incredible. My crown looks and feels perfect. The staff is always friendly, professional, and welcoming — every visit feels smooth and stress-free.
I am so grateful to have found Ocala Smiles. If you’re looking for a dentist you can trust with both your comfort and your smile, Dr. Evelyn is the one. Highly recommend!

Coming from someone who has/had severe dental anxiety Dr. Evelyn and the entire staff here have made dentistry something that I don’t put off anymore. They are all so kind and comforting. I have always been offered things to help make me more relaxed or comforted. The technology they use here is incredible and lessens my anxiety. Dr. Evelyn was even able to help me with a major tonsil stone causing me significant discomfort. I can’t say enough good things about him, the hygienists and the other staff at this office. They’re the best!

Ocala Smiles Dr, Evelyn and his entire staff get the highest recommendation that I can give!!!! I have had dental anxiety from a horrific experience as a child and could not go to the dentist for years without panic. Because of Dr. Evelyn‘s gentle touch, kind demeanor, total and Complete explanation as he’s doing the work I no longer have the anxiety and fear associated going to the dentist! Highly recommended, especially for those with dental fears!

I had the BEST experience at the dentist today! I was very nervous, but Dr. Evelyn and Frankie made me feel at ease. Both took their time talking to me and making me feel comfortable before beginning the procedure. If your nervous going to the dentist I highly recommend this office for all your dental needs!

Dr. Evelyn is a University of Florida College of Dentistry graduate who completed a General Practice Residency at NYU Lutheran Medical Hospital Center and has extensive training in restorative and implant dentistry, oral surgery, and endodontics. He holds a Fellowship from the Academy of General Dentistry as well as Fellowships with the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and the American Academy of Implant Prosthodontics. Dr. Harper has practiced general and cosmetic dentistry since 1985, earned his doctorate from Emory University, and holds a Fellowship (LVIF) from the Las Vegas Institute for Global Studies.
