I recently visited Ocean Bay Dental Care and had a generally positive experience with the staff and facility. The office is clean, well-organized, and the entire process felt efficient. My hygienist was great, and the location is convenient. My interaction with the dentist was super brief.
A quick "FYI" for fellow newcomers regarding the check-out process. There is a bit of a push for add-on services- specifically, I was offered an oral cancer screening and fluoride treatment. While these are great options, it wasn’t mentioned that they weren't covered by insurance, so I was surprised by the out-of-pocket charges at the end. There was also some significant upselling for things like Invisalign and sealings that felt a bit unnecessary for my current needs.
I wouldn’t say I won’t be back, as the actual dental work and environment were good. My insurance does cover Invisalign, so I’d likely use them if I decide to go that route. There should just be a bit more transparency about what is and isn't covered before the services are performed.

Thank you, Dr. Steppe, and your staff for the outstanding work on my anterior implant crown. Replacing a front tooth can feel stressful, but I felt confident and well cared for every step of the way. The final result looks completely natural. I truly appreciate your skill and dedication to getting everything just right! I highly recommend this practice.

Always pleasant , proven experience and great manners , the whole team! Very busy office , they still deliver service and options for best personal results as far as treatment plans. Work with you on payments if needed . Appreciate Dr. S !! He’s great ! Thank you !

I went to Ocean Bay for the first time and Mary did my cleaning. She made me feel comfortable as I am anxious when X- rays are taken. I met Dr. Steppe who was very nice as well. He took time to see if I had any questions or concerns regarding my dental health. I definitely recommend Ocean Bay if you’re looking for a new practice.

First visit to Ocean Bay Dental. Had to have crown put back on. The Dentist was very pleasant and efficient. Had the crown back on in a few minutes. Thankful he could use my crown instead of having to have another made. His tech, was friendly and caring. Front staff were kind and helpful. Office was very clean. Will return for dental cleaning etc. Happy with the visit!
