Dr. Elizabeth Sugg is fantastic! My teeth have never felt so clean after a cleaning. She is thorough, gentle, and really listens to her patients. I also bring my two children to her, and she makes them feel completely comfortable. We're so glad we found her and her wonderful team. I highly recommend!!!

Three times I have had an appointment with Dr Suggs and upon arrival it was a dentist I had never seen before. Suggs was "out of town." I can understand once but three times I had a dentist who had never even looked in my mouth. I was NEVER told someone besides Suggs would be doing the work. This last time I prepaid for the work as I had been sent the treatment plan by Suggs. So I go in and had a fairly new dentist says I need a new crown when Suggs said I had a small filling and there was nothing in the treatment plan about a crown. Plus he did a filling that would have flunked him if he had been in dental school. Front desk never could find my appointments or my wife's when we called or showed up as they always spelled our name incorrectly. You have been warned, John Mosher DDS

Dr. Sugg and team at Ocean Dental elevate the dental experience to the highest possible level. It starts with accommodating and professional service from reception and claims submission. I was able to get a last minute appointment when I thought I had an undiscovered dental problem. Dr. Sugg even provided my annual cleaning herself since the hygienist was fully booked. This dental practice uses higher grade materials and treatments than other offices, but also explains a course of action ahead of time to avoid billing surprises. I cannot recommend Dr. Sugg enough - it's worth a trip to Hilton Head Island just to visit the dentist!

Dr. Sugg and her team are just exemplary. I am always amazed with the care that is given to me during each visit. The knowledge, professionalism, and friendliness cannot be matched.

Very professional and positive experience. Of course most of us don't look forward to dental visits. Dr Sugg and team do a great work and put one at ease.

Ocean Dental, located on Hilton Head Island, offers dental implant options as part of a broader range of dental services. For patients missing one or more teeth, the practice provides both traditional dental implants and All-on-4 implants, a technique that replaces a full arch of teeth using four strategically placed implants. This full-arch approach is designed to provide a fixed restoration that looks, feels, and functions like natural teeth, without the adhesives or slipping that can come with traditional dentures.
The practice describes All-on-4 treatment as taking place over a few months, since implants need time to integrate with the jawbone before a permanent prosthesis is attached, and patients wear a temporary denture during that healing period so they are not without teeth. Ocean Dental also offers bridges anchored to dental implants for patients replacing one or more missing teeth. Patients considering implants can schedule a comprehensive evaluation to have their bone health and candidacy assessed before deciding on a treatment plan.
Ocean Dental was founded by Dr. Elizabeth Sugg, who has led the practice for more than 15 years. Dr. Sugg has also practiced dentistry for the United States Marine Corps at Parris Island and the United States Army, and worked as a dental instructor. Patients considering implant treatment at Ocean Dental will work directly with Dr. Sugg and her team throughout the evaluation and treatment process.
