My Dr. Carrara is a great professional dentist. I had teeth implant. It went smoothly. Doctor provided great service. Now I start a new implant. Doctor’s assistant Jake also did a wonderful job. He is a very nice person. Thank you so much.

I am very happy with my visit to this dental office. The clinic is very clean, organized, and has a pleasant atmosphere. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. Even though I don’t speak English, the doctor explained everything to me using a translator, which made me feel comfortable and calm. I truly appreciated the patience and care. Thank you for your professionalism and kindness. I highly recommend this office!

I was a new patient, but explained to the team that the pain I was having in one of my teeth was a minor emergency. They were able to schedule me for a visit almost immediately and were very accommodating. Dr. Carrara and his staff were professional and thorough with their evaluation which eventually led to a root canal diagnosis. I greatly appreciate the team and their willingness to diagnose my situation quickly and efficiently.

I got two crowns done from here and two root canals done with a few more things I still need done. I am so happy with my results. I am almost done with everything I need done. I have insurance but even without insurance the prices are reasonable they also have third party lenders. All the staff there always greets me with a smile everyone is super friendly and the dentist are awesome. They have a client for life . If I could give them 100 stars I would ❤️

I visited Oceanside Smiles to have a filling that had fallen off inspected. The office is small and conveniently located near my home. The doctor examined me and suggested a treatment plan, which seemed fine at first. The issues began when I reviewed the treatment plan with the front desk. I asked who I could speak to if the charges didn’t match my insurance schedule. The staff member immediately replied, “They’re correct—I checked myself,” with noticeable attitude. Pro Tip: Always call your insurance company to verify rates before agreeing to treatment. When I contacted my insurance, I discovered discrepancies. For example, a non-standard cleaning was listed at $150, but my plan covers it at zero cost. I informed the staff, but they refused to call my insurance for verification. After multiple emails and attempts by my insurance to reach them, the $150 charge was eventually corrected—but then another unexpected fee was added, which was not part of the original plan. They also tried to charge $45 for a desensitizing treatment, which my plan covers at zero copay when fillings are involved. After back-and-forth communication, the staff told my insurance company that I should go elsewhere. To date, I have not received any follow-up from a manager or the doctor. This experience raises concerns about transparency and willingness to work with insurance providers. I hope this review helps others verify charges before treatment and encourages Oceanside Smiles to improve staff training and communication.
