We have been with Dr. O'Conner several years. I have been pleased with the graciousness of all staff, and the competent dental work. My husband tells me that he got good and effective advice from one of the hygienists that he had never heard before, his whole life. Dr. Conner's work is permanent, never needing immediate repair. Dr. O’Conner is well-regarded by his peers in the dental service community, who refer technically difficult parts of implant procedures back to him rather than doing it themselves, as they have done with others. We heartily recommend this pleasant and skillful gentleman!

I have a fear of going to the dentist due to a painful history from previous dentists. The staff are friendly and gentle which drastically reduces my anxiety when sitting in the chair.

O'Connor Family Dentistry has always done a good job of helping my whole family with all types of dental work, from my grandmother all the way down to my now adult children. Over the years, all of their hygienists have done an amazing job of helping us keep our teeth clean and polished without being unusually abrupt or painful like some hygienists can be. Dr. O'Connor does a great job with dental repairs and when we have needed specialized work done, they have been good about getting us a referral to a competent specialist.

Very pleasant experience. I had x-rays, cleaning and fluoride treatment. Dr. O’Connor didn’t pressure me to get a lot of dental work done. I appreciate the low pressure, relaxing environment.

O'Connor Family Dental is a family dental practice at 1015 South 40th Avenue, Suite 15 in Yakima, Washington, where the stated goal is to promote healthy, beautiful smiles for the whole family in a caring and reassuring environment. Services range from routine hygiene care and fillings to dental implants, along with crowns and bridges, dentures and partials, root canals, extractions, gum disease treatment, veneers, tooth whitening, and mouth guards for TMJ treatment. Comfort is a stated priority. The office offers relaxing music, overhead TV monitors, and a view of Fisher Golf Course, and uses gentle injection techniques and warm water during cleanings to reduce cold sensitivity. Meet the Doctors
The practice is led by Dr. Nate O'Connor, who earned his Doctorate in Dental Surgery from the University of Washington School of Dentistry and completed a general practice residency with an emphasis on dentures, implants, and oral surgery through the Veterans Affairs Hospital Long Beach and the University of California Irvine. A Yakima native, he returned home and joined his father in the practice in 2006. He is a member of the Yakima Valley Prosthodontic Society, the Washington State Dental Association, and the American Dental Association, and has served as an officer of the Yakima Valley Dental Society.
