I went in feeling very nervous about the surgery. But Cassie the nurse and Dr. Kune made me feel very relaxed. They were all extremely nice! I don’t remember a thing from surgery. I got the IV sedation and was out. Waking up from surgery the nurses all took great care of me. I would definitely recommend to anyone! I got 3 wisdom teeth out and a coronectomy on one.

I had surgery performed by Dr. Shaner on 2-18-2026. I was very concerned because I am 80 years old and had a tooth that was implanted inside my pallet. Last year it decided to come down. My tongue kept hitting it and was very annoying. I felt like a shark with another extra pair of teeth, as sometimes food hit that tooth first. I made several appointments and would end up cancelling. I finally decided, I had had it. I must say the day of surgery arrived and I am very pleased to say all went well. The whole staff treated me with great respect and care. Dr. Shaner came in and next thing I knew, surgery was over. Never felt anything during the surgery. Was given directions on how to proceed in the post operative care at home and prescriptions. In the healing process now, and just minimal pain, which I take the meds as needed. I am very pleased and would recommend Dr. Shaner with great respect and thankfulness.

My experience at OMS was wonderful! I was very nervous, but Dr. Koon and the rest of the staff put my worries to rest. I had two root tips removed last Monday. The aftercare instructions were easy to understand, and I received a follow-up call to check on my recovery. Highly recommend!

Never been disrespected by a doctor office like I was here. They wanted paperwork that is none of there business. We waited in the waiting room for 45 minutes past appointment time. We saw other patients that arrived after us go back, before us. Then was taken to a room for consultation. Waited in that room for 30 minutes, never saw a dentist. After 20 minutes in the room I got the surgery we were there for schedule with another office. We walked out to find the lobby closed, and most employees gone.im sure they don't care, im just one patient, I recommend go to other surgeons

I had my Wisdom Teeth taken out here. Dr. Quinn and all the staff involved were so kind to me the entire time. I'm someone that gets anxious around dentists, But the staff here have never given me a reason to be scared or nervous. They've always taken extremely good care of me. Would recommend to anyone! +Extra points for the Fish tank in the lobby. I could stare at it for hours.

Dr. J. David Gipson, DDS, MD, joined the practice in 1997.
