I recently had full upper and lower arch implants, and the entire experience couldn't have gone any smoother from start to finish. Dr. Porter and his team are truly as good as they come. Their professionalism, skill, and genuine concern for their patients made a major procedure feel surprisingly easy.
Everyone in the office was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive throughout the process. It's easy to see why they have 200 five-star reviews. My experience exceeded my expectations, and I highly recommend Dr. Porter and his team. They have been exceptional in every respect.

WOW, what an amazing experience! Growing up with military dentistry as a child, I was petrified of having anything more than a cleaning. The experience I received here was remarkable! Dr. Porter understood my concerns and made sure I received everything needed to feel comfortable throughout the visit. You can truly feel the care and passion this business puts into its work. Friendly people, quality service, and an overall outstanding experience. Highly recommend

I recently had an implant and a wisdom tooth removal at OMSA, and I couldn't be happier with my experience. The team was very professional and took the time to explain everything to me, which really helped with my anxiety. They made sure I felt comfortable and confident throughout the process. I appreciated their clear communication about my options and the upfront costs. Plus, they were always on time and very friendly. Highly recommend OMSA!

My dad had a few teeth removed here, Dr. Porter was amazing. My dad felt zero pain during his procedure. The entire team were rockstars, and had the up most patience and compassion for my dad who is often a difficult patient! My dad said he felt like VIP, everyone was so kind and supportive. Highly recommend.

Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Associates, also known as OMSA, is an oral surgery practice on Cosgrove Avenue in North Charleston, South Carolina. Meet the Doctors
The practice is led by two board certified oral and maxillofacial surgeons, Dr. Michael H. Porter, DDS, and Dr. Lon R. Doles, DDS. Dr. Porter completed his oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at the Washington Hospital Center, Johns Hopkins Hospital, and Children's National Medical Center, serving as chief resident in his final year, and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery with a special interest in dental implants and corrective jaw surgery. Dr. Doles earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery at Ohio State University, completed his oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at the Medical College of Georgia, and has practiced in North Charleston since 1976; he is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology and a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. According to the practice, Drs. Porter and Doles together bring over 35 years of experience to the North Charleston office and practice a full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery, from corrective jaw surgery to wisdom tooth removal, along with dental implant and bone grafting procedures.
