I am x military and I have some serious jaw and teeth problems. I have had several surgeries there from bone graffs to many implants and fell and got a zygomatic fracture my skull was caved in. Dr. Carey has repaired me more than a few times and I have never had a better experience with him and his staff. Dr. Carey is one of the best surgeons on this planet. Extremely nice and very detailed no surprises. I have probably had 20 surgeries with different oral surgeons and none compare to carey

As a person with over two decades of first hand experience in the medical field I highly recommend Dr. Carey for your oral surgery needs.
I had a sudden onset of severe jaw pain that lasted a week with no improvement. Two oral surgeons were recommended by a local dentist. The first one did not have an opening for about 10 weeks. The second surgeon was Dr. Carey who was able to see me within one day of contacting him. He, his staff, and the entire office experience inspired confidence. After his very thorough exam he showed me the x-ray, explained what the problem was, and the treatment he could provide. He did not press like a salesman, just waited for me to process the information and tell him how I would like him to proceed.
The next day he performed the surgery which had some above average challenges. Every aspect of my encounter with Dr. Carey and his staff was first class. The follow up care over four and a half months was excellent and I am back to normal. Thank you Dr. Carey and staff.

Dr Carey and staff was excellent. My twins both had their wisdom teeth taken out. I received a call personally from Dr Carey on same day to check on them and the entire process was smooth& informative from pre op to surgery day. I would recommend office a thousand times. Thank you again Dr Carey and staff.

My grand had to have all 4 wisdom teeth removed in a hospital setting
what really impressed me is that the Dr personally called me to see how she was doing, it wasn’t his nurse/staff/receptionist put him personally calling to check on her to make sure everything was OK. That is a great definition of a great oral surgeon and his office. He explained exactly what he was gonna do. He explained it the day of surgery And after surgery – I would highly recommend Dr.Carey

I had a GREAT experience. I was very nervous about being put to sleep for surgery being that it would be my first time. Dr. Carey walked me through every step, he explained every medication he was putting in my Iv and how it would make me feel. That made me feel much more comfortable because IV’s are another thing that make me nervous. The procedure was fast and there were no issues. My sister used the same Doctor for her wisdom teeth removal and had a great experience which is why I chose them even though they were out of network for my insurance. Overall great experience and very polite, patient and trustworthy staff to use for your services.

Meet the Doctors
The practice is led by Dr. Vincent M. Carey, DMD, an oral and maxillofacial surgeon. A native of Macon, Georgia, Dr. Carey earned a bachelor's degree in science from Georgia College & State University and his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry in Augusta. He completed a general practice residency at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville and his oral and maxillofacial surgery residency with Columbia University at Harlem Hospital in New York City. Dr. Carey is board certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, serves as an evaluator of offices for sedation permits for the state of Georgia, and is a Fellow of the American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and a Diplomate of the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology. He is also a member of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, with special interests in dental implants, corrective jaw surgery, sleep apnea and oral pathology.
