I can’t say enough great things about Barbie Zino. I’ve been going to her for over 10 years, and that alone says everything about the level of care she provides. Barbie is incredibly skilled, gentle, and thorough—she always makes sure I’m comfortable and informed every step of the way.
What really sets her apart is how much she genuinely cares about her patients. She takes the time to explain things clearly, never rushes appointments, and always makes the experience feel personal rather than routine. Dental visits can be stressful, but Barbie has a way of making them feel calm, easy, and even pleasant.
After a decade of consistently excellent care, I can confidently say I wouldn’t trust my dental hygiene to anyone else. If you’re looking for a hygienist who is professional, knowledgeable, kind, and truly exceptional at what she does, Barbie Zino is the best of the best. Highly, highly recommend!

I had all four of my wisdom teeth removed and the entire experience was great. The staff did an excellent job from start to finish — very professional, kind, and calming. My recovery was fast, I had no complications, and everything was explained clearly. I really appreciated how comfortable they made me feel throughout the process. Highly recommend this office!

Dr. Batya Goldwaser is amazing! the entire team did a great job in making me feel comfortable and eased my anxiety about removing all 4 wisdom teeth. had a smooth recovery and a great experience.

I recently had all 4 of my wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Goldwaser and her team. It was a super easy surgery and recovery process. Everyone was very nice and informative on the procedure as well as any pre/post care. Highly recommend to anyone needing their wisdom teeth removed!

Dr. Battya Goldwaser herself is excellent calm, knowledgeable, and professional. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for her Aventura office staff, whose disorganization and disrespect completely overshadow her care.
Since my first visit in 2023, the office staff has clearly changed for the worse. I was met with rude, condescending front desk behavior, unclear insurance guidance, and conflicting information. I was asked to obtain specific codes for a medical consultation, which required a referral, a visit to my primary doctor, and several phone calls to my primary care doctor and insurance. After all that effort and finally securing pre-authorization, the office abruptly reclassified the appointment as a dental consult—a switch they informed me of just one day before the visit, along with a $185 out-of-pocket charge.
This was not a simple oversight. My first appointment had already been canceled due to delays in authorization. For the second, I was forced to cancel because of last-minute cost disclosures and blatant miscommunication.
When I pushed back, I was told: “You’re more than welcome to find another office that accepts medical insurance for dental visits.” Also they commented on my referral being old. Like I somehow need to go back to ortho to get a new referral. They do not know their job. Go somewhere else.
It took a 30-minute argument just to receive a half-hearted apology after I called. If the staff truly waits until the day before appointments to review referrals and insurance information as the staff claimed that’s simply poor practice. This office treats patients like an afterthought. I’ve already booked elsewhere with no issues, and I strongly advise others to do the same.
