I had an excellent experience with Dr. Mortenson and his entire team. The staff was extremely professional, welcoming, and efficient from start to finish. Dr. Brent Mortenson is truly an expert in his field. He took the time to thoroughly explain the procedure beforehand, answered all of my questions, and made sure I felt completely comfortable and informed.
He reassured me that I would be well taken care of — and he absolutely delivered on that promise. The level of care, skill, and compassion I received exceeded my expectations. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The absolute best!

The staff is excellent! Very pleasant and professional. Dr. Brent is just awesome! I have gone to his practice before with my young son about 15 years ago and the treatment of our family was the same. My son had a lot more work done than I did! But 15 years years later he and his staff remembered us and the situation! I would absolutely recommend him to anyone needing oral surgery 💯%!

Not only did I have a procedure done here, but my son had his wisdom teeth extracted today at Oral and Facial Surgery Group. Everyone is so friendly, including Dr. Mortenson. We will gladly recommend this practice!

This place is fantastic.. The front office girls are so friendly and sweet. They do a great job of a scheduling and talking to the patients to relax them. They take care of all the insurance issues for you. Dr. Mortenson is amazing. He takes great care of his patients. He was able to cut my tooth out with very minimal discomfort. I've had very little bleeding or pain afterwards. They give you detailed instructions on how to care for your wound to ensure proper healing. I can't thank you enough Dr. Mortenson and your wonderful staff.

They was amazing! I was asleep and woke up in a blink of a eye! Yes there was some pain but not like i thought it would be! ( having 3 wisdome teeth and 2 back molars removed there will be some !)Its friday now, and I had my surgery on monday, and the pain is very very dull now. Mr mortenson did a super good job! If i need anything else done in the future it will be threw him! He made sure I was very comfortable and the dental assistant was very nice as well!

The Middletown office is served by Dr. Brent Mortenson, a Board-Certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon trained at the University of Washington School of Dentistry. Dr. Mortenson worked as an oral surgeon at the Middletown, Kentucky dental practice led by his father, Dr. Wayne Mortenson, before he opened the Oral & Facial Surgery Group in 2007, along with a second location in Frankfort in 2011. He believes in providing individualized care in a compassionate and safe environment, and has treated thousands of patients over the years. He completed his oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at the University of Washington, attended the University of Louisville School of Dentistry, and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
