Worst experience of my life! Charged me for 2 bags of IV fluid and 500.00 for fentanyl. Was awake for the whole procedure. Talked to Dr Johnson before he walked out. Felt and heard the whole thing. Next procedure was an implant different dr would never use Dr Johnson. When I Went for a consultation was told how much it would cost. Paid in full cause that’s the only way they will help you! Many months after they sent me another bill for 700.00 dollars!! I have been living in pain since the tooth was extracted . The implant is still sore! Don’t want to go back to see what’s wrong may cost thousands of more dollars. First surgery was awake and felt the whole procedure second one was told to breathe deep and than breathe again was out cold.Have gone to my doctor have had a cat scan to figure out why I’m still in pain gone to therapy needling to try and relieve the pain. My dentist says he doesn’t know what is going wrong. My doctor is the only one trying to help me. It’s been 3 years and I’m living in constant pain!.

On October 6th, I had two implants, wisdom tooth extractions and some services provided by Dr. Parker under anesthesia. My insurance didn't cover the procedure and before I could be seen you know the drill, I had to pay over $6k out of pocket-paid. By the way, the practice does accept assignments w/my insurance plan. ( I'll get back to this later). My appointment was around 9 a.m., and I was back home by around 10 a.m., not long. I had a question later that day, so I called the office @ 12:41pm. and again @ 2:04 p.m.
The next day on the 7th I called the office again, and the receptionist transferred the call, which went to voicemail. So I didn't leave a message because I left one on the 6th and didn't get a call back. I called back immediately and expressed that it was unacceptable that no one called on the 6th to check on me, and no one returned my call. Now I was explaining this to the receptionist. I hung up because the receptionist again said she would relay the message. This time I got a call back within two minutes. And my Verizon bill shows I got about 4 more calls that day to check on me. Too late! The doctor even called and texted. Now I wasn't expecting the doctor to call, but I was expecting at least his medical staff to call, i.e. the nurse as a standard operational procedure. And since that day, I was marked. Stay with me.
My insurance was filed - that is standard protocol, even though they would deny it and I paid up front. Understood-understand. The standard is also that when a practice is onboard with a carrier they agree to accept assignment, or the fee schedule that has been agreed upon with that payer. The practice takes the adjustment and applies it to the account, as well as the payments. That was partially done incorrectly and I should have had a credit of 896.25, but the practice says my credit is 189.25, according to Lizzie. And posting payment from a payer is addition and subtraction. Nothing fancy. The practice charged me $6,224.00. The insurance company approved $5,327.75. The difference is (896.25). Well they came up with 189.25. At this point, after three months of back and forth I asked for the refund on my follow up appointment, February 2nd and today is February 23rd, with no refund yet. Not even what they said they owe me. (I hope this helps someone.)
I have been given the run around since I called to inquire about resubmitting my claim for the medical part and services to see if I could get reimbursed for the anesthesia and to this day, February 23rd I haven't received that information. And all I needed according to Aetna was the diagnosis code and the CPT codes so I could file the claim myself. Unbelievable.
On 12/22 I called the main office in Montgomery to speak w/the office manager in an attempt to discuss my account. The young girl who answered the phone, in a very demanding and disrespectful tone drilled me like I was calling the white house and I needed to be patted down. And I politely answered all of her questions. The only question I asked was, "Could I speak with the office manager?" And this clearly upset her. After the nasty tone, I was told she was on vacation. So next, I asked for her email address. The same young girl put me on hold and came back and said "I could send my email to the generic email address." When I inquired again about the office manager's email address, she said , "I could not have the office manager's email address and I could send my "personal email" to the jawdocs.net email address and she would receive it and get back with me when she comes back from vacation." It is now February 23rd and I have not yet heard from the office manager.
February 4th I received a link to provide a survey and at the end it stated that someone would give me a call.
In summary..no diagnosis, CPT codes, nor a refund. Next step file a complaint. Moral of story: don't need anything, don't ask questions or complain.

Such an amazing experience. I was very fearful to get my wisdom teeth removed due to other dental places but this has been the best one ever. I’m in little to no pain and the procedure was yesterday. I would recommend this one to everyone.

I had a great experience with Dr.Parker and my wisdom teeth extraction. The facility was clean, staff was friendly and the work done seems to be thorough. Dr.Parker had polite bedside manner and his surgical staff was very gentle. Only complaint I have with my experience would be the communication. Scheduling was a little tricky in my case, I was pregnant and the go between myself, my OB and scheduling department was stressful. Finally got it all sorted out after birth. Also, when I was finally scheduled, I was verbally told a different time than was confirmed via text and email. If you’re unsure about your arrival time or anything with your appointment, be sure to give a call. They will gladly answer your questions!

The staff (front desk, accounting, nursing, surgical staff especially Dr Jason Parker) made this experience a great one. First class, professional office along with a friendly and comfortable environment made my experience great! Highly recommend 10 out of 10.
