I paid $600 cash for a mouth guard for TMJ. They said it’s covered under warranty and to keep my mold for a new one. The warranty is good for 6 months. But they won’t cover lost guard…even though you have to make a new one. They wanna charge me another $400. Not only are they super far to travel to, but they don’t uphold their warranties. Never returning .

I took my mom this morning for mandibular tori extractions on both inner sides and it was a rough experience for me to witness. My mom is elderly and these young female staff were speed walking everywhere expecting my mom to keep up with them. I had to tell my mom to slow down and take her time. The doctor was nice and all. I didn't like seeing him yanking out the pieces of bone, which to me seemed like it's not cut all the way, and he broke it off on the last bit? I also didn't like the conversation he was having when he stated if you see smoke when you cut bone, you might start a fire. And the cherry on top is they didn't prescribe my mom ANY pain medication. They told her for her bone extractions that over the counter Tylenol will suffice. After we got home and the anesthesia wore off, my mom was in excruciating amount of pain. I called the office multiple times over the course of an hour and a half, they kept on cutting me off and forwarding the call to the back, surprise, surprise, NO ONE EVER ANSWERED THE CALL. I had to call the front office and be persistent. Office staff are really young and act like they truly don't care about the patients. Then they recommended ibuprofen. If you have love ones and care for them and love them, please don't take them here. Please.

They know what they did to me... I could sue them, but I choosed not to because I'm a kind person. But the nightmare that they put me through is unbearable. Right now, I finally gained the confidence to even speak let alone share my horrific experience.. It was around May 16, and I had a consultation to get my wisdom teeth removed. Took atleast 2-3hrs just to get a consultation that lasted not even 5 minutes. This office seemed very absurd about money instead of giving their patients proper care. (And not once did the nurse or doctor talk to me about anything else. Only checked to see if my wisdom teeth were coming through; scheduling my surgery day)
May 24th, 2018... The day of my surgey.
My appointment was around 7 or 8a.m.
They called me back and sat me down on the chair... Dr. Eric Swason comes in and immediately starts judging me. "I'm sorry, but due to your BMI, we are not allowed to give you any anesthesia. We'll need to go to an actual hospital to put you under due to your BMI" The doctor begin to numb my mouth (But only to the point where I couldnt feel them cutting but felt them actually yanking the tooth out of my jaw) and put some air tubes up my nostrils... And begin to cut my mouth... The cutting I didn't feel.. but when he dug his tool into my mouth to rip the tooth out.. I was screaming and crying, and I told him to please stop. That I felt the pain. And every time I told him he would just yanking harder until the tooth came out... 3 times I had to go through this.. 2 nurses were ordered to hold me down while he was pulling my teeth out...
When it was all done.. my mouth looked like it was butchered. Blood was everywhere in my mouth.. I was hyperventilating, and tears were running down my face. I asked. "Can I please have my mom in here?" and they said, "We can't let you see her, due to your condition. You need to stop crying." Eventually, I stopped, and my mom was allowed back, I told her what happened and started crying again and what everything that they did/didn't do to me. My mom was furious... I wanted to know why I couldn't get anesthesia. The doctor stated, "Due to her BMI, we should've never done her, She should've been sent to a hospital. We couldn't give her anesthesia due to her bmi" and took me around back and escorted me to my moms car so no one else could see what they did to me..
I personally thought/think that was bullshit, what does a "BMI" have anything to do with YOU doing your damn job and putting me under with the appropriate amount of anesthesia? The doctor knew he messed up; only stated those claims.. especially his unprofessional action by ordering the nurse to hold me down while he yanked out my teeth, even after I told him to "Please stop, I feel all of it. Please!" ... He knew his job would be in jeopardy. Not only that, but he knows that he took many patients who were 2xs even bigger than me. The only thing that was different was our complexion. I was the only black person in there (My mother is white) ... And I felt judged by every staff including the doctor except 1 nurse.
It felt like I was in a Jigsaw movie... I thought discrimination was over with but apparently it isn't. If you are colored or even colored/overweight. Please do not come here, It's very easy to ruin someone's life... but very hard to forget what willl happen. I'm reliving this nightmare of event everyday...
Since my procedure, I've been having extremely sharp pains in the back of my mouth where my Wisdom teeth use to be. And it's been a year and a couple months now. They messed up my nerves in my mouth and life.. now I'm in a repeating cycle of reliving that day. They're very lucky to be getting a 1 star. Because they truly deserve a negative 5 star ranking.
Thank you for ruining my life.
Update: It's been 6 years since I got my wisdom teeth removed, I'm still experiencing pain. Please, do not come here. These "Good Reviews" are Scams/False information. They're doing damage control due to their negligence. Their poor rating says enough about this place. Take your money elsewhere.
