Dr Yudell and his staff were absolutey amazing! I had to get two teeth pulled on my right side one on top and one on bottom that I was holding off on for a year or so until pain started on the bottom one. At first I was hesitant because he is out of network with my insurance but the other oral surgeon in my network I recall not having the best experience so I rather pay out of pocket first and be reimbursed if I know I am getting a great result and great service. I saw Dr Yudell on a Tuesday or Wednesday and went in for my procedure the following Monday. He is very gentle and I felt no discomfort during the procedure and I am usually very anxious when it comes to dental work but he put me at ease and numbed me up nicely. The best was that he checked in on me that evening after hours to see how I was doing and that was a plus to me. I am one of those lucky people/women who are prone to dry socket so I did see him before my one week follow up and they took me in with no issue and he placed a soothing medication into the socket.
I highly highly recommend Dr. Yudell. His staff and him are very pleasant and he is funny and has great chair/bedside manner and does not rush and you can really tell he cares about his patients.

Dr. Yudell and staff were WONDERFUL! He explained everything I needed to know before and after the surgery took place. I never had any discomfort after the procedure..... what a surprise! He was warm, friendly, caring AND called that evening to ask how I was feeling. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Yudell is great. He’s completed 3 surgeries on me and all have went to plan. He explains everything thoroughly and executes with confidence. The rest of the office staff, nurses, etc. were also very nice and helpful.

The office staff were all friendly and helpful. Dr. Yudell communicates clearly and listens well to all questions. I went for a tooth extraction and I never knew it was out until he placed the "flipper" I needed in my mouth. I didn't experience a moment of discomfort.

Dr. Yudell is caring, professional and an excellent oral surgeon. I am very pleased with the work he has done. All appointments are timely and efficient. He has a wonderful staff who go out of their way to assist and make you feel comfortable. I highly recommend him for implants.

Meet the Doctors

Dr. Yudell earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Tulane University, received his dental degree from the Columbia University School of Dental and Oral Surgery, and earned his medical degree and completed his residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at LSU Medical Center in New Orleans, where he also completed an internship in General Surgery. He is an active staff member at Stamford Hospital, where he serves as division director, and is a past president of the Stamford Dental Society. He is a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and a member of the Academy of Osseointegration, among other professional organizations. His special interests include implant surgery, jaw reconstruction, oral and maxillofacial pathology, and dentoalveolar surgery.
