I received efficient and professional care from everyone at this practice. Starting with my initial conversation to make my appointment, to the billing team members, the radiologist and chairside care provider. They explained in full detail using easy to understand non-technical language. They checked with me several times just in case I had a question. I liked that they had an intern observing the esteemed Dr. Barton. I was an intern many years ago & was reminded of how grateful I felt for the confidence of the patient' & the ease of their cooperation. Certainly not the least, but lastly was Dr.Burton's charm, robust skill, respect for me in answering my questions, and swift completion of the procedure was beyond my expectations. He is a champion among his peers. If you need to see an oral surgeon, you have my recommendations for this practice. I am grateful to have these professionals in my community.

My husband had 2 teeth extracted - wasn't sure going on how many would be taken out but very pleased decision was made to take care of things now! From the time we arrived to the time we left all personnel, Dr. , nurse were super!!! They explained procedures, how things went, and post surgery instructions. They could not have been more professional and caring in their approach! We would highly recommend them to anyone!!! They are the best! Thank you, Oral Surgery Associates!!

About Oral Surgery Associates
Oral Surgery Associates is an oral and maxillofacial surgery practice with a Council Bluffs, Iowa location at 201 Ridge Street, Suite 308, part of a group of offices serving the Omaha and Council Bluffs area. The practice offers dental implant treatment, including single implants, multiple implants, and full upper or full lower implant solutions for patients missing teeth. Their team also handles wisdom teeth removal, tooth extraction, impacted teeth, bone grafts, and anesthesia care, working alongside general dentists who refer patients for surgical tooth replacement.
For patients considering dental implants, the practice describes implants as a way to permanently replace missing teeth, offering an alternative to options like bridges or dentures that a general dentist might otherwise provide. Procedures are carried out by board certified oral and maxillofacial surgeons supported by a nursing and surgical team. Patients can find information on financing, insurance, and scheduling through the practice's patient registration and consultation process before moving forward with treatment.
Meet the Doctors

Dr. Barton practices full scope oral and maxillofacial surgery, including extractions, pathology, and chin and jaw and trauma surgery, and the website describes him as a dental implant specialist who has placed thousands of dental implants over his career. Dr. Schaefer, who also sees patients at the Gretna office, is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and is described as approaching each patient's case individually.
