I had a consultation with Dr. David Clark, and I couldn’t be more impressed. From the moment he walked in, he took his time, explained everything clearly, and made sure I fully understood my options and what to expect. He never rushed the appointment and answered all of my questions thoroughly, which immediately put me at ease.
The office staff deserves just as much praise—they were incredibly kind, professional, and very thorough from check-in to check-out. You can truly tell this is a well-run office that cares about patients, not just appointments.
Even though this was just a consult, the experience gave me complete confidence moving forward. I highly recommend Dr. Clark and his entire team to anyone needing oral surgery care.

Recently had a procedure done with Dr. Clark at Oral Surgery Associates in Shreveport, and couldn’t be more pleased with the care that was given. From the initial consultation to the next step he was very thorough in everything that was going to happen. He has always been very gentle and that goes along way. His staff was very kind and professional. I would highly recommend Dr. Clark Oral Surgery & Associates.

Very fun and funny experience. Everyone made sure I was comfortable. Dr. Bishop did a really fast and thorough job with my wisdom teeth removal. Staff were very kind throughout the whole time and I love Alex Brock!

I took my daughter in on 11/19/2025, from the time we walked in we was greeted with smiles and bunch of welcome faces. The staff was absolutely the best ever. They talk me through every step and explain everything before they did anything to my daughter. Once she was done they still was caring & was even giving hugs to her as she ask. The doctor even advise if we couldn’t reach her at office that we could contact her cell. Just say this my daughter procedure didn’t even last a whole hour. I would totally recommend them to everybody. Thank y'all so much for everything.

My visit was great. Dr. Martin was great and explained everything he was doing. His Dental tech and the secretaries were great also. I'll be glad to recommend this office to others.

Oral Surgery Associates is an oral and maxillofacial surgery practice that has served the Northwest Louisiana community for over 30 years. The Shreveport office is located at 2120 Bert Kouns Industrial Loop, Suite D, and the practice also has offices in Bossier City and Ruston. Dental implants are a core part of what the practice offers. The practice describes implants as a foundation for replacement teeth that look, feel, and function like natural teeth, helping patients who have lost teeth eat comfortably and smile with confidence. For patients whose jaw does not have enough bone to support an implant, the practice also provides bone grafting procedures, including ridge augmentation, sinus lift, socket preservation, and nerve repositioning.
Beyond implants, the practice offers a full scope of oral surgery, including wisdom tooth removal, corrective jaw surgery, treatment of facial trauma, oral pathology, exposure of impacted canines, pre-prosthetic surgery, and distraction osteogenesis. Meet the Doctors
Dr. David K. Clark, DDS, is the practice's oral surgeon. A Shreveport native, Dr. Clark graduated from Louisiana Tech University in 2001 and earned his dental degree from New York University College of Dentistry in 2007. He completed his oral surgery residency at the Washington Hospital Center in Washington, D.C., in 2011, and joined Oral Surgery Associates that same year. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Louisiana Dental Association, the Northwest Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and the Academy of Osseointegration.
