I came here for an emergency since my primary oral surgeon's office was closed for the holidays and everyone was so nice! Dr. Stern evaluated my tooth extractions that were performed a week prior and he put a medicated dressing into the socket that was causing me excruciating pain. I feel so much better already! I ended up having a POTS episode due to the heat, but the staff ensured that I was safe and comfortable until I was ready to leave. This practice doesn't accept my insurance, but the rates they charged for my dressing was very reasonable, and they are accommodating towards any financial barriers. Highly recommend this practice!

The experience from the moment I stepped into the office was delightful -and that s not often said about a dentist/surgeon s office!
Each staff member was sweet , kind and very attentive . I was put at ease before my extraction and Dr Richard Stern was so kind. He explained everything and continually asked how I was doing. Except for a few quick pricks while getting the numbing shots I didn t feel any pain at all! Post-op was also handled with care and concern and I was given both verbal and written instructions for home care.
I highly recommend this practice!

Dr. Stern is the absolute best! His expertise and compassion for his patients are truly remarkable. Having been in practice for decades and performed thousands of extractions, Dr. Stern understands that oral surgery can still feel very traumatic and stressful for a patient. He does everything in his power to make you feel confident, comfortable, and at ease throughout the entire process.
His assistants during the procedure were professional, calming, and incredibly supportive. The office staff are also outstanding, friendly, organized, and helpful from the moment you walk through the door until the time you leave.
This oral surgery group provides exceptional care in every aspect. I highly recommend Dr. Stern and his entire team to anyone needing oral surgery.

Had 2 wisdom teeth taken out at Oral Surgery Group in New Brunswick NJ. Dr. Richard Stern was EXCELLENT. Very friendly and kept me calm. The process was absolutely painless. Local anesthesia, iv sedation, and gas was a savior. Highly recommend to anyone needing oral surgery!

This is Cindy. Our family has trusted Dr. Philip Engle for over five years. He performed my daughter’s very first complicated oral surgery when she was 13 years old. The procedure was challenging, but Dr. Engle handled it flawlessly.
From that moment on, we knew we had found an exceptional oral surgeon, and ever since then, many members of our family have trusted him for their oral surgery needs.
Most recently, Dr. Engle removed all four of my daughter ( Serena)’s impacted wisdom teeth when she was 18. Once again, we were amazed by his surgical skill. She had virtually no bleeding after the first day, only minimal swelling, and very little pain throughout her recovery. Her recovery was far easier than we ever expected, which speaks volumes about Dr. Engle’s precision and expertise.
Beyond his outstanding technical skills, Dr. Engle is kind, compassionate, and genuinely cares about his patients. He takes the time to explain everything, puts both patients and parents at ease, and carefully double- and triple-checks every detail to ensure the best possible outcome.
