From walking through the door, to the procedure, and the follow up care… the assurance of being taken care of was excellent. As someone with high dental anxiety, I can confidently say I was never worried about my care here! The environment is amazing and the staff is so friendly. Even though I would love to avoid going back to the oral surgeon for any reason, me and my family will definitely use this office if the need arises again!

Dr. Odom and his staff were wonderful! Having my upper wisdom teeth removed at age 44 seemed really random (according to all my family and friends) but my procedure was quick and painless! My recovery went so smoothly! I would recommend Oral Surgery Kansas to everyone!

We had one of the BEST medical experiences I’ve ever seen at Oral Surgery of Kansas. Our teenage son was pretty nervous about getting his wisdom teeth removed, but we felt this was the perfect timing before braces come off and high school life gets even busier. From the very first call to schedule, the entire team was accommodating, welcoming, and incredibly professional. The initial consult was thorough and reassuring. They walked us through the full process, answered every question we had about surgery for a teen, and even addressed a very specific concern we had about anesthesia for a redhead (who can metabolize medication faster). Dr. Odom was completely prepared, had a plan in place, and handled everything seamlessly during surgery. That level of preparation gave us so much confidence. The procedure itself was quick and smooth. The front desk staff was so polite and kind. The nurses took amazing care of our son and even enjoyed his post-anesthesia humor, which made the whole experience feel light and human. The building is beautiful, the rooms are very comfortable, and the overall environment feels calm and high-end. What truly stood out was the follow-up. Dr. Odom personally checked in that evening, which felt above and beyond. Then Faith followed up the next day to make sure everything was going well. That kind of care matters. Pricing felt fair, and the experience was exceptional from start to finish. If you’re in Lawrence or the surrounding areas and need oral surgery, I cannot recommend Oral Surgery of Kansas enough. We are big fans and will absolutely be referring others.

My wisdom teeth extraction went very smooth and healed great. I am happy with that. The facility was clean and comfortable and the doctors did a great job. They were very informative about the risks and short term care instructions, but they weren't informative at all about long term care, which was frustrating. I had to go buy my own dental irrigation syringes to keep my extraction sites clean because they failed to mention the holes take months to close up and provide the proper tools for that. They also failed to mention that pain can spike after day 3-4 and then were slightly dismissive when I came in with concerns about that. Overall a good surgery, I just wish they more informative and prepared me better.

Staff was very helpful and helped me to feel at ease. All my questions were answered and the Doctor was very good in letting me know what he was doing. I had a wisdom tooth extracted and had not had a tooth extracted in a very long time. I felt everything went smoothly and I would definitely recommend this office to anyone.
