Osky Dental is like coming home to family and friends who care about your welfare. Jacque has a warm and soothing voice both in person and on the phone as she works with you to set up the appointment and compile your chart. Nicole is thorough and great to converse with while she compiles your vital information. Spencer is Dr. Dan's assistant who produces your x-rays and while administering care and compassion if you are in pain. Dr. Dan is outstanding with his level of understanding and expertise in dental procedures. He knows how to administer a local with the least amount of pain. He keeps you abreast of what he discovers and discusses your treatment plan and answers your questions about future appointments, if needed. Mark is an efficient and professional office manager who is also very kind and welcoming. He lets you know about the process they will take to file your insurance claim and when to let them know if something comes up on your end that is a concern. Tamara is patient, warm and caring. She makes you feel welcome and cared for. This staff at Osky Dental is the best this field has to offer. My outcome was great and I look forward to seeing them again in the future. Their unity, communication and professionalism lets you know you've found a great group of people watching over your dental needs. They care. The deliver. They are wonderful. I won't think twice about using them again. They are a top notch dental practice! Thank you Osky Dental for the trust placed in you. You exceeded expectations once again. We appreciate Dr. Dan and all the staff of Osky Dental. Not only for the great services they provide, but for the friendly, comfortable environment they provide. There is a nice balance of knowledge of their professions with a humble attitude toward the important work they do. At our age, it seems to be a "no anxiety zone" in the midst of problem solving!

I had my first appointment with Osky Dental. The comprehensive first time appointment was beyond anything I had received at any other dentist in my lifetime. Thank you Nicole. They are wonderful and I look forward to my next appointment and feel I made the right choice for my needs.

I cannot say enough about Dr. Dan and his staff! Yesterday, 4th of July, my son had an accident an knocked his front teeth backwards. We were about 20 min from town and called on our way out. Left a message and called back within 5 minutes and met us there about 10 min after we arrived. Reset the teeth and got us on our way. That meant everything to this mama, and a scared little boy. Dr. Dan- we appreciate you and your big heart!!!

Osky Dental is a veteran-owned general dentistry practice at 902 S 17th St in Oskaloosa, Iowa, and says it has been serving the community since 1995. The practice describes a belief that treatment should be accommodating for patients, asking why travel to different offices out of town when care can usually be done locally. Alongside routine care such as exams and cleanings, digital X-rays, tooth-colored fillings, root canal therapy, gum disease treatment, metal-free crowns, and extractions, the office lists a full range of dental implant services: single tooth implants, implant-supported bridges, All-on-4 full arch implants, implant dentures, bone grafting and sinus lifts, same-day dental implants, and implant consultations with 3D imaging.
For patients who have lost most or all of their teeth, the practice explains that All-on-4 treatment replaces an entire upper or lower arch with four strategically placed implants supporting a fixed set of teeth, beginning with an evaluation that includes digital X-rays and 3D imaging. Meet the Doctors
Osky Dental's clinical team includes Dr. Dan Schuster, DDS, and Dr. Jacob Inghram, DDS. Dr. Schuster earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry and has completed extensive postgraduate continuing education in orthopedics, orthodontics, dental implants, and dental sleep medicine, along with study of TMJ disorders under Dr. Harold Gelb. He is a native Iowan and an Army and Navy veteran. Dr. Inghram is a general dentist who grew up in Cedar Rapids, earned a Bachelor of Science in Human Physiology from the University of Iowa, and completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Iowa College of Dentistry. His treatment philosophy is to treat every patient like family.
