First place I dont get anxiety about going into anymore!!! Awesome staff, awesome Dr. Precise, thorough, knowledgeable, humble and easy to talk to and get along with. Doesnt have that "cocky" demeanor that most in this specific field have. Dr. explains the procedure and process. He will also make sure you do not feel a thing! I grimaced in the middle of a procedure, he stopped and a couple more shots went in before I even knew what was going on. Gave it a little bit and finished up, didnt feel a thing. I drooled all over myself for a couple hours, but I wasnt trying to impress anybody anyway. Staff are professional and very helpful. Kept calling me to inform me on what the ins paid, what I could expect and what they were doing to work with me as much as they could. Called a few times afterwards to check up on me. Had a concern a couple days after. Gave me the option to come in right away or send pics in. I sent pics in and they told me what to do. Good to go!!! No office visit fee. Most windows face the water and bridge downtown, so nice view while you are getting a tune up.

Already had 3 implants by Dr. Blanchard. Now I need 2 more. He is very smart, and cares about doing a perfect job for you. I would not go to anyone else. My regular dentist is very adamant on always using him

About Outer Banks Periodontics and Implant Dentistry- Elizabeth City, Nc

Outer Banks Periodontics and Implant Dentistry is a periodontal specialty practice with offices at 200 North Water Street in Elizabeth City, North Carolina, and in Nags Head, serving patients across northeastern North Carolina and the Outer Banks. The practice focuses on periodontal (gum) care and dental implants, with a stated goal of providing expert periodontal and implant care in the comfort of a state of the art facility. Implant services described on the practice website include replacing single missing teeth, options for patients missing all upper or lower teeth, immediate temporary teeth placed at the time of implant surgery, bar attachment dentures, and bone grafting procedures such as ridge augmentation, sinus augmentation, and socket preservation to prepare the jaw for implants.

Because this is a periodontal practice, implant care sits alongside a full range of gum treatments, including scaling and root planing, periodontal maintenance, gum grafting, crown lengthening, guided bone and tissue regeneration, cosmetic periodontal surgery, bite adjustment, and oral cancer exams. The website notes technology such as cone beam three dimensional imaging (I-CAT), digital x-rays, Piezotome ultrasonic surgical equipment, and LANAP laser treatment for gum disease. The practice works with referring general dentists, so implant patients typically have the implant placed here and the final crown or denture completed by their own dentist. The practice describes its approach as treating patients as conservatively as possible to achieve comfort, esthetics, and long term success.
