This is the first time in a long while that I can genuinely say how grateful I am to have been referred to Dr. Brandon Kang’s dental office. From beginning to end, my experience was nothing short of marvelous. Even though my visit was arranged at the end of the year, amid the usual holiday rush and confusion, the staff made everything feel seamless. Every step of the process was clearly and thoughtfully explained, and I felt truly understood and cared for as a patient, which made all the difference. Once inside the treatment room, I was immediately impressed by Dr. Kang himself. He is a humble, low-key, and exceptionally skilled young doctor, an NYU valedictorian graduate, whose perfectionism, diligence, and calm demeanor are evident in his work. Quiet yet warm and approachable when needed, he creates an atmosphere of trust and ease that is rare to find. Dr. Kang is supported by an outstanding team of assistants, whom I affectionately nicknamed his “Charlie’s Angels.” (Cynthia, Graciela, and Karina) were all exceptional: supportive, sweet, attentive, and highly professional. Special thanks as well to Robert and the kind, welcoming receptionist. Together, they function as a truly excellent and cohesive team. The procedure itself was completely painless. Dr. Kang is undeniably gifted with his hands. Even after the surgery, I experienced minimal pain and very little bleeding, something that genuinely surprised me. For a moment, I felt like a Marvel character with superhuman recovery. The entire procedure went far beyond my expectations. Overall, the quality of care and dental service was exceptional. The office atmosphere reminded me of my old dentist, full of light, joy, and genuinely good energy. The warmth and positivity of the people working there are palpable, and as a patient, you can truly feel it. That kind of joyful, calm demeanor extends directly into the quality of care, and it makes a tremendous difference. My mouth is grateful, and so am I. I cannot recommend Dr. Brandon Kang and his team highly enough.

If I could give zero stars, I would. I went to this surgeon for my wisdom teeth removal, and the pain afterward was unbearable. For 10 days, I suffered from excruciating pain, suspecting a dry socket. When I returned to the office, the surgeon barely glanced in my mouth—he didn’t even use a mirror or proper tools to examine it. He dismissed my concerns, declared everything “perfect,” and told me to take acetaminophen, which I had already explained didn’t help at all. When I asked for the original medication that worked—a narcotic—he implied I was addicted. Yes, I was "addicted" to not feeling the pain of exposed bone and nerves in my mouth. His attitude was unprofessional and dismissive. Later that day, I went to my reliable dentist, who took the time to actually examine my mouth with a mirror, proper lighting, and an X-ray. He immediately confirmed I had a dry socket and gave me a referral. When I went back to the surgeon, he claimed I had a "partial dry socket"—which is not a real thing. A dry socket is when bone and nerves are exposed; it’s either present or it’s not. He clearly didn’t want to bother with my case. To top it off, the receptionist is appallingly rude, talks obnoxiously loud in the small clinic, and has zero professionalism when it comes to phone or text communication. She’s just as dismissive and unprofessional as the surgeon. The only good people in this office are the X-ray technician and the nurses, who were kind and professional. Unfortunately, the incompetence of the doctor and receptionist completely overshadows that. Avoid this place at all costs—they have no regard for patient care or respect.

I had a wisdom tooth removed today... It was the most positive surgical experience I've had! Dr Kang is incredible and the staff are extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and professional! What surprised me most was his assessment that my remaining wisdom teeth are fine and don't need to be pulled!

Absolutely incredible. I came here after having a traumatic oral injury and Dr Kang and his crew took the best care of me. I am extremely happy with how the implant & bone graft went, as well as with all the follow ups. Couldn’t recommend their office more !

Dr. Kang and his team were incredible! They saw me in an emergency situation and provided me with kind, competent and compassionate care. They followed up on me that evening to see how I was feeling. I am someone who has a lot of fear of dentists and they were wonderful and warm and take exceptional care of me. I definitely recommend them.
