I've had a great experience at Packard Dental in Carlsbad. The entire team is friendly, professional, and makes every visit comfortable from start to finish. The office is clean, well-organized, and they always take the time to explain everything clearly.
A special thank you to Ashlen, who is an outstanding dental hygienist. She is gentle, thorough, and very attentive, making cleanings comfortable and stress-free. She takes the time to answer questions and offers helpful tips for maintaining good oral health. Her professionalism and caring attitude really stand out.
I highly recommend Packard Dental to anyone looking for excellent dental care. If you have the opportunity to see Ashlen, you're in great hands!

I’ve been a patient at Packard Dental for decades. Their care is superb! Dr. Mat and his father before him are kind and caring!
I had my teeth cleaning with Allison the other day and, as usual, she not only did a great job, but went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable with my procedure. It’s always a good experience at Packard Dental.

I had a very pleasant first time visit to Packard Dental. I was inquiring about some cosmetic dental work and the entire staff was very welcoming. Dr Matt took his time to review all of my options and his recommendations. From start to finish I felt appreciated and very comfortable. No pressure, just a thorough exam and I left with a desirable treatment plan.

This is a wonderful state of the art office! The entire staff is super friendly, attentive, and efficient. Dr. Joy is the best ever! She is extremely knowledgeable and her expertise and genuine kindness have given me total confidence in her. Jayna is my hygienist and has given me the best cleanings and care as well as being a total delight. I cannot say enough good things about this office. I highly and totally recommend!

Dr Matt is truly the best out there, from the moment i met him i knew he was the man for the job. I got 21 veneer's and never been happier with my smile. Definitely a dream come true, plus all of his staff is very caring and made the process as smooth as possible. Also i was traveling from the bay area to Carlsbad to have the work done, dr matt and his team exceeded my expectations

Meet the Doctors
The clinical team at Packard Dental includes Dr. Matt Packard, Dr. Joy Magtanong-Madrid, and Dr. Michael Florence. Dr. Matt Packard is a third-generation dentist at the practice who earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Brigham Young University and his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry. He is a graduate of the Engel Institute of Implantology, a member of the Tau Kappa Omega honor society, and has practiced dentistry since 2011. Dr. Joy Magtanong-Madrid earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry and has wanted to be a dentist since she was seven years old. Dr. Michael Florence, Dr. Matt Packard's uncle, joined the practice after 26 years of owning and practicing at his own dental office in Ogden, Utah. He graduated with high honors from Oregon Health and Science University, where he was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon honor society, and has practiced dentistry since 1995. His expertise includes dental implants, oral surgery, orthodontics, and Botox treatments, and the practice notes his welcoming manner with both children and adults.
