I have severe anxiety when it comes to going to the dentist. I put off going for almost 10 years, my best friend recommended Palmetto Dental Arts, because she’s the same way, and I’m so grateful she did. First appointment they went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable, didn’t make me feel like i was disgusting for putting off going for so long. When i told them my past experiences with other dentists and my fear of losing teeth, they showed me my X-rays to make sure i knew my teeth especially the roots were healthy i would not be losing them. Second appointment was my first big cleaning, and they did such an incredible job. Needed to have a few fillings, rather than making me sit through all of them at once they broke it into two appointments. Again, made me feel comfortable both times. When i went for my second cleaning they called to let me know my hygienist wouldn’t be the same and asked if i wanted to reschedule or if I’d be okay with someone else. The entire staff makes the environment so calming, they don’t judge you, they understand dentist anxiety / fear. Yes it’s a little pricey, but you absolutely get what you pay for, and their in house membership makes it much more affordable. Highly recommend.

I love this practice. Their work is excellent and their service is too. As a person who has sensitive teeth and gums, I always dread my cleanings, but Ashley Davis is the gentlest hygienist I’ve ever seen and I don’t hate them anymore! Highly recommend Palmetto Dental Arts.

I had such a wonderful experience at Palmetto Dental Arts! I had the opportunity to have Ashley as my dental hygienist, and she was absolutely amazing. She was incredibly kind, professional, and very gentle throughout the entire appointment, which made me feel so comfortable and at ease.
I truly appreciate the care and attention she provided, and I would gladly have her take care of me again in the future. I highly recommend Palmetto Dental Arts to anyone looking for excellent and compassionate dental care!

Paul C Shirly is an amazing doctor. I was having trouble with my wisdom teeth and they were able to get me for same day consultation and I got my wisdom teeth out the next day. The professionalism and kindness I was shown at their office was like no other. I will be recommending him from here on out. Thank you very much to the whole team at the office.

About Palmetto Dental Arts
Palmetto Dental Arts is a general and cosmetic dentistry practice in Bluffton, South Carolina, offering a full range of services including dental implants, All-on-Four full arch replacement, bone grafting, and periodontics. The practice provides care for patients missing a single tooth, multiple teeth, or a full arch, using a titanium post, abutment, and custom crown to replace missing teeth and help preserve the jawbone. A free cone beam 3D scan is included as part of learning about implant candidacy.
For patients considering implants, the practice describes a step by step process that starts with a consultation and evaluation, followed by implant placement, a healing period for the implant to integrate with the bone, and finally placement of the abutment and custom crown. The office notes that treatment time can span several months depending on healing and whether bone grafting is needed, and that flexible financing options are available. The practice also offers an in-house membership plan for patients without dental insurance.
