Dr. Lee, the front staff, and the assistant were all extremely professional! The front desk scheduled me for a same-day consultation, and Dr. Lee was able to work me in for the extraction the very same day. I didn’t even feel the injection, and the extraction was quick and comfortable. I would highly recommend this office!

Today I had one of the worst experiences I have ever had at a dental office. I was already on edge because my 13-year-old was having her wisdom tooth pulled. She was nervous, and so was I. When I walked in the front door, I was greeted politely and told to wait until they called her to the back. Eventually, she was called back, and I waited up front. The nurse came in and explained the aftercare instructions and how to handle things afterward. She initially seemed nice. My daughter continued to cry, although Miss Gail stated that she was not crying. Miss Gail then put her hand in my daughter’s mouth and said, “You’re not going to bite me.” I thought she was joking and simply doing her job with humor, so at first, I didn’t think much of it. However, my impression changed when Miss Gail yelled to another nurse to come help get my daughter out of there because she was “making all this noise.” I told Miss Gail that I didn’t think my daughter could help it. Miss Gail responded by saying that she could help it and that she shouldn’t be acting that way. I told her that my daughter was uncomfortable and that people should not be treated that way. By this time, the situation became louder, and if I am not mistaken, one of the doctors came down the hallway and said, “She’s been out for 15 minutes, and teen girls look at TikTok.” I asked him if he thought my daughter was faking, and he shrugged his shoulders. I do not believe my daughter was faking at all. The assumption that she was exaggerating or pretending was unfair, especially since they did not know her mental health history or personal background. I honestly believe the bedside manner was unnecessary and inappropriate. I was so upset by how my daughter was treated that I called the police because I felt she was insulted and mistreated. I have never experienced anything like this before. Two nurses eventually helped my daughter to the car and assisted her inside, but I felt they viewed me as being dramatic rather than acknowledging how poorly my daughter had been treated. I had been recording my daughter so we could laugh about the experience later, but by accident, I actually captured video footage of her being mistreated. Coming off anesthesia does not happen in just a few minutes. I am not a doctor, but I know that much. Being treated as if my daughter was being dramatic or faking was completely unacceptable. While I was sitting there, I could hear another patient nearby talking. Although he was calmer and my daughter was more whiny, that does not excuse how she was treated. It felt as though they believed my daughter was too loud and were rushing to get her out of there because she made other patients uncomfortable. Miss Gail appeared to have been doing this job for a long time, and I am certain my daughter was not the first child to cry loudly after anesthesia.

Let me start by saying I have no complaint with the dental work I received from Dr Morgan. My complaint is with Hannah and office manager. I am a liver transplant patient with several additional medical problems—diabetes, CAD, severe anemia, low blood platelets, high blood pressure, Chronic Kidney Disease as well as being on blood thinners. I was having 7 teeth removed during this visit. I have GEHA Insurance which does not cover anesthesia NORMALLY. But it WILL cover anesthesia if the dentist will write a statement saying it was medically necessary that I be sedated. I contacted Hannah on the phone several times and even made a visit to the office asking that this be done and I was told they would take care of it. NEVER DID. My daughter also contacted this office manager asking that the statement be submitted. She was told they would submit statement that very afternoon. Just give them enough time as they mail the claims in rather than doing it electronically. I even asked they send statement to me. That way I would know it had been taken care of. NEVER WAS!!. She then turned it over to collections. I ended up paying $318 that my insurance would have paid. I know this because I talked with my insurance company and this had been done for me in 2018 by this same dental office. It appears this office staff is not patient oriented. Needless to say, I will not return to this office!!

First let me say Dr.Lee seems like a compassionate person so this has nothing to do with him or his staff member that took care of things in the back. This has to do with the receptionist and "Penny" who works at the checkout. I was ignorant to how insurance worked with two different coverages so I asked the front desk clerk why one couldn't be used over the other. As if I was trying to commit a crime, the receptionist goes "because THAT'S FRAUD" all loud like I can't hear. I simply say thanks for explaining because I didn't know. I've really been working on how I respond so I shocked myself by not walking out at that point. I should have listened to that little voice and walked out right then with my daughter. But no, we stayed and while waiting I found out that my second insurance could be filed but this office doesn't do the extra work to file it. What I was asking wasn't fraud but whatever. We're finally called in the back and that doesn't take long. Probably saw Dr.Lee for less than 3 mins. We're sent to a room to wait on checkout. This where my husband said I should've cussed Penny (big bulgy eyes, loud, and rude. Can't miss her) out after I explained what happened to him, and he's always the calm, voice of reason when things turn sour. Penny automatically wants $170 for the consultation. No Xrays, nothing special done...$170 lol. That was never explained before the appointment. I ask if that was after insurance. She said nope, they get their $170 upfront regardless of who's paying and they'll pay me back whatever is left after insurance pays. Fine, I offer my Care Credit card. There Penny goes getting all loud "WE DON'T TAKE CARE CREDIT". Sounding like a loud bank teller who is telling you that your account only has 38 cents in it. You would've thought the poors were trying to pay with Monopoly money with her reaction. I explain that I didn't know and she goes "WELL THERE'S A SIGN UP FRONT". Penny, y'all have about 100 signs up front. I didn't stand there reading them all. Penny is still loud telling me I'm going to have to sign a payment agreement and demands to know when I'll be making my first payment. Penny, (because I know you're reading this) you can expect that payment whenever you want but being that the total was $170 and my insurances website says my part is 20%, I'll send you my payment (about $34) whenever my insurance emails me about it. I suggest somebody get that claim sent in and even then you better hope I don't drop off my payment in pennies for you to count. Going forward, I don't care how far I have to travel, I will never use or recommend this office. I suggest the partners running this practice use these consultation fees to pay for some training for their staff because one day they're going to get cussed out for being hateful to people. And judging by the reviews, it's been going on for a while. If you can't speak to clients with compassion, you don't need a position in an office setting. Penny certainly would've got told where she could put her payment agreement if my daughter hadn't of been with me.
