I absolutely love the doctor—she is very kind, compassionate, and clearly skilled at what she does. Unfortunately, my experience with the office itself has been very frustrating.
She is the only oral surgeon who has been willing to take on my case, but I cannot afford the cost of treatment. The office does not offer payment plans, and I was never informed that they stopped accepting my insurance—even though I had been seen there for over two years. Finding this out only after trying to schedule another appointment was upsetting and unexpected.
I made multiple attempts to get information about pricing and next steps. I was told someone would call me back after checking with billing, but I never received a return call. When I followed up myself, I still didn’t get clear answers, and communication felt dismissive.
This situation has been especially difficult because I am in ongoing pain and have already been turned away by other oral surgeons due to the complexity of my case. When I tried to explain my frustration, I felt that the receptionist responded with an attitude rather than understanding. I made it clear I wasn’t upset with her personally—I am just overwhelmed by the situation and the lack of options.
I’m giving three stars because the doctor herself is wonderful, but the communication, lack of transparency about insurance, and how I was treated during a very stressful moment were disappointing.

If you’re looking for an outstanding oral surgeon, I can’t recommend Dr. Rosenstein enough. Whether you need a tooth extraction, wisdom tooth removal, or treatment for an infection or swelling, he is exceptionally patient, professional, and genuinely caring. He clearly knows exactly what he’s doing, and the entire experience was quick and painless. His staff was just as wonderful, making the whole process easy and reassuring. If you’re searching for an oral surgeon, look no further. Dr. Rosenstein was truly exceptional, and I wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Azhar Took her time explaining and listening to my concerns. She also was able to remove the two teeth that needed extractions same day which I’m so thankful for. Can’t say enough good things about her and the team! Thank you!

I would recommend this place to anyone in need on an implant or really anything they offer. Dr Azhar is absolutely amazing. She is very professional but personal at the same time. Very knowledgeable and patient. She is a perfectionist which is always a great thing when it comes to any kind of dental work. I’ve had another implant years ago by another surgeon.. and all I can say is this time around was 1000 times better. The staff is also all very friendly and helpful. I can’t say enough good things about this place. I love it!

Pretty quick and inexpensive. Very nice staff - polite and careful. My medication was ready pretty quickly at a local HEB pharmacy. Hope no more teeth issues, but if there are, I’m definitely going back to Pasadena Oral Surgery.
