I can’t say enough great things about Pena Adobe Dental Care. I actually drive an hour just to come here, and it is 100% worth it every single time.
A huge shoutout to Aileen, the dental hygienist—she is absolutely amazing. You can tell she’s a seasoned professional who truly knows her craft. She was incredibly thorough, attentive, and made the entire experience comfortable. On top of that, she’s very personable and easy to talk to, which makes a big difference during a dental visit.
Jaclyn at the front desk was just as impressive. She was friendly, welcoming, and helped get my new insurance switched over quickly and smoothly without any hassle.
Dr. Takher is extremely knowledgeable and experienced. What I really appreciate is how clearly he explains everything—he breaks things down in a way that’s easy to understand, which makes you feel confident and informed about your care.
Overall, this office goes above and beyond. The team is professional, efficient, and genuinely cares about their patients. Highly recommend to anyone looking for top-quality dental care!

Going to the dentist is NOT my favorite pastime! The people at Pena Adobe make it as pleasant an experience as possible. Being a senior there is ALWAYS something!!! But the Doctor is up front, honest. Always gives other options if possible. They work with us who have no insurance also. A great place with great people

As a new patient at Peña Adobe Dental in Vacaville, I had a great first experience and wanted to share my honest thoughts.
Walking in, the office immediately impressed me—it’s spotlessly clean, modern, and has a fresh, welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel relaxed right away. The waiting area is comfortable and contemporary without feeling flashy.
Best part? There was zero sales pressure. No aggressive upselling or pushing unnecessary treatments—just straightforward, honest explanations of my options, letting me decide what made sense for me.
Dr. Amani Takher (he) was genuinely nice—kind, attentive, and took the time to listen to my concerns, answer every question thoroughly, and explain everything clearly. The exam felt unhurried and comfortable; I never felt rushed or like just another patient.
The whole team was friendly, professional, and super welcoming—from the front desk staff to the hygienists. Everyone seemed to truly care about making the visit positive and stress-free.
If you’re looking for a modern, clean dental office in the Vacaville area with a skilled and approachable doctor (he) and a supportive team that puts patient comfort first, this place is excellent. Highly recommend—I’ll definitely be going back! 5 stars.

Every visit to Pena Adobe Dental is such a great experience. They always make you feel special and completely at ease, no matter the service - and they play the best music! The entire staff is amazing and truly cares - taking the time to talk with you and make you feel comfortable.

What a wonderful office! The first thing i noticed was in the lobby. The staff knew almost everyone walking in by first name and everyone was greeted warmly. The chocolate chip cookies were a nice touch too! The employees seem extremely happy to be working there. Awesome, upbeat music and lots of positive energy here. My hygienist was INCREDIBLE! He was gentle but very effective. I did not feel like I was drowning in water, or that someone was wrenching on my teeth for an hour!! And Dr. Takher is super cool!
