Dr. Amy Kuhmichel has taken care of both of my kids. First kid was more involved - wisdom teeth extraction and a mass removal from behind his upper front teeth. Thankfully the mass was just a cyst. Second kid was a straight forward wisdom teeth extraction. Both kids had very little pain afterwards, very little swelling. I appreciated the personal call the evenings of their surgeries to check on them. The office is efficient; always on time, always communicative. Unfortunately for me, Dr. Kuhmichel was no longer in network when the second kid needed his wisdom teeth out; we decided it was worth the extra money to have someone we trusted taking care of him.

My son recently had his wisdom teeth removed at the Dunwoody office with Dr. Kuhmichel. We had a great experience. He had minimal discomfort during and a smooth recovery after. The staff was wonderful and Dr. K is top notch. I would recommend them to anyone needing to have this procedure done.

This office is the best. Every single individual I encountered was an absolute pleasure. They were accommodating and went above and beyond for me. Sipé has the best bedside manners & Dr. K was so effective & encouraging through the procedure. Made it a breeze. Rosalita the x-ray & imagining tech is an angel. I recommend them 100 times over. Got my wisdom teeth pulled, and the process we swift yet thorough.

I am a new patient to this practice and have been so very impressed with Barbara and Janae at the Front Desk. They immediately set the tone with their warmth, patient greetings, helpfulness, and professionalism. Moreover, they treat me as a valued patient and connect very well us patients. And my Medical Assts., Ashanae and Sascha were also most helpful and compassionate, guiding me every step of the way during my initial assessment and biopsy. Then Dr.D displayed a great bedside manner, along with a sharp fund of knowledge. Moreover, I have been impressed with his level of concern, treatment plan, and ongoing recommendations, including my aftercare. Dr D communicates so well and established and maintains a therapeutic rapport with his patients. I am grateful and feel truly blessed to be able to entrust my care with these awesome team members and Dr.D, my team leader, as they all convey a deep level of care for me, the patient, but also for me, an individual. Many kudos to all!!

My daughter used Dr.Kirmichael to have her wisdom teeth removed and the experience was very good, so when my bridge was failing and I needed implants, I had a consultation elsewhere and was not happy. This office is professional, yet kind, very patient friendly and informative, as well as efficient. Highly recommend!

Meet the Doctors

Dr. Maron attended Emory University Dental School and completed his oral and maxillofacial surgery residency there, followed by a one-year fellowship in reconstructive surgery; he served as the official oral and maxillofacial surgeon for the 1996 Atlanta Olympic Games, works with several Atlanta professional sports teams, is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and holds a Georgia Board of Dentistry general anesthesia permit. Dr. Kuhmichel is a board certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon who earned her dental degree from the University of Pennsylvania and completed her oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at Emory University; she and Dr. Maron have advanced training in cleft lip and palate care and reconstructive maxillofacial surgery. Dr. Digumarthi is a board certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon, a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, and an Atlanta native.
