Hands down a very kind team, I have severe anxiety and they made me feel comfortable through my extraction. The Dr. was so quick and gently as well. Would definitely recommend their facility.

My daughter was scheduled to have 4 wisdom teeth extracted and chose to have her procedure done at this location. Dr David Howerton was fantastic as was the clinical staff who assisted in caring for her. The reason for the 1 star review is purely because of the unprofessionalism and rudeness of the front office staff. Not all of them but Fran is mostly who I'm referring to. She was rude, condescending and very confrontational to the point that I asked her why she was being rude and she said " I'm not being rude, i just have a very strong personality". The story is this: They sent my daughter home from the consult a few weeks earlier with a statement indicating that she would be expected to pay $1800 on the day of her procedure. We arrived for the procedure and the person at the front desk (not Fran) said that we would have to pay $1500 today. I asked if they had ran the insurance and what the contracted rate was because I wasn't going to pay more than I was responsible to pay. Since they are contracted with our insurance Delta Dental they have contracted rates and I'm not responsible to pay beyond those rates. At that point, Fran who was watching from another desk, came over to where I was. I repeated my concerns to her and all the while she was giving me dirty looks and said that I just needed to pay the $1500 and they would refund me if the insurance paid more. I told her that was not how this should work. I explained that I was willing to pay my portion but I was not going to pay more than I am responsible for. She stomped away saying she was going to get the manager and that the manager would take care of this. She was gone several minutes and came back with someone but didn't come and talk to me, they spoke with someone else at a different computer. After several more minutes the manager (I'm assuming) walked away and Fran and the other person who was entering things on the computer printed out a new statement. They say my total now is $1100. They said that they entered their contract rates with my insurance so now my balance is correct. I then was informed that i had a $61 credit they would put on my bill because they had made my daughter pay up front for her consultation and the insurance had now paid their portion. So I paid the $1100, even though i didn't want to. Not because I don't want to pay what I owe but because I don't believe they charged me correctly. We as consumers should be able to ensure we are spending our money appropriately and not to be bullied when we ask questions to clarify the bill. I've never encountered a more unprofessional, unwelcoming visit to a providers office. I would not recommend them unless they make changes to how they treat people. This really ruined what could have been a great experience since the Dr and clinical staff were great. PS. Fran also complained to her coworkers about a patient who she had just been speaking to on the phone and she was loud enough for the people in the waiting room to hear her. Very unprofessional Edit: I received a refund of $270 in February 2026 because I was still overcharged even after speaking about contract rates. They did send the refund without prompting which was nice

Dr Howerton did my wisdom teeth in october 2024. He did all 4 in 45 minutes, two were impacted, and set me on my way. Now, i have a Crossbite, Overbite, and severe TMJ disorder in both sides of my jaw. This was never the case before. I returned to him recently to hopefully understand what was going on-and he basically laughed in my face because he didnt want to take accountability. Every dentist, chiropractor, and ortho ive seen points to the surgery and that there was a mistake made. If you have the slightest unsure feeling about this place, walk away. Its not worth your money. And when they tell you every appointment is free after surgery, dont listen. Trust me, its not.

From start to finish, the experience was phenomenal. Excellent customer service. Doctor is truly a gem of a human being on top of being an incredibly intelligent, and skilled surgeon. Calm, reassuring, thoughtful, kind, patient, caring employees made the process worry-free. Detailed instructions, reassurance and a 24-hour phone line to call in case of any question or concern. I recommend Peak Implant & Oral Surgery to anyone and everyone.
