Honest Review for Pecan Tree General Dentistry
After recently selling my home in Frisco and moving closer to Sherman, I spent months searching and evaluating options for a trustworthy family dentist. Finding the right provider was important to me not just for routine care, but for a long term relationship built on professionalism and compassion.
I’m grateful to say that my search ended at Pecan Tree General Dentistry in North McKinney, led by Dr. Kim. From the very first call, the staff was welcoming, attentive, and genuinely focused on patient needs. The office at 2315 Virginia Pkwy, McKinney, TX 75071 is modern, clean, and comfortable, which immediately put my family at ease.
Dr. Kim is thorough, honest, excellent listener, passionate and highly skilled. What impressed me most was the balance of technical excellence with clear communication every procedure and recommendation was explained in detail, with no pressure or upselling. It’s rare to find a proven dentist who combines clinical expertise with such genuine care for patients’ comfort and long-term health.
Now, Pecan Tree Dentistry is officially our family dental service provider. I feel confident knowing my family’s dental health is in excellent hands, and I highly recommend Dr. Kim and her team to anyone in the McKinney, Frisco, or Sherman area who values quality, integrity, and compassionate care.

My first visit to Pecan Tree Family Dentistry was wonderful. My hygienist, Pauline, was incredibly warm, friendly, and detail‑oriented. She took her time, patiently answered all my questions, and made me feel truly welcomed throughout the entire appointment. Dr. Kim was also very friendly and professional, which added even more confidence to my experience. The whole team created a comfortable and positive environment. I would highly recommend this office to anyone looking for a new dentist.

My children and I recently visited Dr. Kim and his team at Pecan Family Dentistry, and we had a wonderful experience. The entire staff was warm, welcoming, and attentive from the moment we arrived. They took great care of my children and made sure all of their needs were met.
Dr. Kim has an excellent bedside manner and made us feel comfortable throughout the visit. The same can be said for the rest of his team, who were all professional.
I don’t usually look forward to dental appointments, but I am so excited to have found a dental home where I feel heard and can trust the practice with all of my family’s dental needs and concerns. I highly recommend Pecan Family Dentistry!

Dr. _ Kim was extremely meticulous. He took multiple X-rays and photographs, carefully examined the tooth, and most importantly, took the time to determine that the nerve was healthy and had not been affected by the fracture. I never felt rushed, and all of my questions were answered with patience and professionalism.
I truly appreciated that he focused on what was actually needed rather than recommending unnecessary treatment. His attention to detail, honesty, and commitment to preserving a healthy tooth gave me great confidence and peace of mind.
The entire staff was kind, professional, and caring. I am very grateful for the excellent care I received and highly recommend this office. Five stars without hesitation.
