WONDERFUL first time visit for my 4 year old. I'd highly recommend for kids and especially special needs parents. The entire team is so kind and my son was made comfortable during his visit, but still received his check up. I'm happy to have found a dentist that works for him and with him. The little slide and play area was especially nice, I think it helped him relax before going in to his check up.

We have had the best experience with multiple visits. Every provider has been so kind and caring. Today we had a procedure done at Mayo with Dr. Solie. He had great bedside care and really took time with us! I highly recommend this facility!

First and foremost, I do not want my review to reflect on the entirety of the staff or other dentist, this is only for Dr. Kristin Bothun. I have dental experience, specifically in pediatric dentistry and I’m very familiar with the procedures when it comes to dental treatment on children. My daughter was in for treatment with Dr. Bothun, right off the bat I felt like the whole procedure was rushed. Dr. Bothun began by numbing the area and immediately starting prepping and jumping into treatment on the tooth. Local dental anesthesia typically takes effect within 2-5 minutes after injection. Most dentists I have worked for give at least 3-5 minutes but if the child shows signs of pain, will pause and either allow for a bit more time or utilize a bit more anesthesia. It was very apparent that my daughter was in some pain/discomfort right away but she was not stopping. Thank goodness the cavity was not deep and the “sleepy juice” finally took its effect, and she was able to finish. We got home and after the numbing wore off my daughter mentioned how she could not fully chew her food. I take a look in her mouth and realized that the filling was a huge glob, sitting way too high preventing her to fully bite down on the other side. I was pissed, not only was the whole procedure rushed but it was sloppily done causing us to have to return to fix the filling. This is not the 1st experience with Dr. Bothun where I felt like the procedure was rushed. We had a recent experience with my son who needed his 2 front teeth due to trauma. Again, Dr. Bothun jumped immediately after numbing into extracting the teeth. It was very apparent that my son was in a lot of pain during the procedure saying “ow, hurts, stop”, her response was “you’re just feeling pressure”. Given that he is 4 and those teeth aren’t supposed to fall out until the age of 6-7 there was a lot of root still within the pallet. I have no doubt that it was painful and quite frankly inhumane for her not to stop. We have always had great experiences with the staff and other dentists with both check-ups and treatment. I only do this review in hope to cause some reflection for Dr. Bothun on the manners of her treatment, and to prevent unnecessary pain for other kiddos. We gladly will return but have requested to only be seen by the other 3 providers.

My 14 month-old had her first dentist appointment today and she had a wonderful experience. The staff were kind, patient, and respectful with my daughter. We look forward to our next appointment!

Always have had good care with the dentist office. Today, my daughter was scared with her teeth extraction, and the lack of compassion and care received is out of this world. Instead of having a reschedule they told us we are no longer welcome at their dentistry. Would I recommend ever again no.
